Sudden Attack Pre OBT Review
By: badgamer007 in posted at Aug 21, 2009 3:34 pm - 1

Game Options
When you first start playing Sudden Attack, the user-friendly atmosphere immediately takes you in. Some of the game’s options, are rarely seen in FPS. Two examples are the Cross hair change and Hand type option. Besides the standard options of Quick Join, Join, Refresh and Select server, you can report players from the waiting room, which makes it convenient to catch the players. Also, Sudden Attack’s website updates weekly with a list of banned players.

Shop/Inventory
You first start out with 3000 points, earning more points by playing. There is not much variety when it comes to weapons for purchase, with six primary weapons, two secondary, one-melee weapon and one other. When your rank goes up, you receive a new weapon. This weapon has an expiry date, like the weapons in the shop.

Slot Settings
There is one option that stands out while browsing the shop inventory; it's Slot settings. This is where you can put weapons that you might want to exchange during the game. It costs 50 points for each exchange.

Targeting System
When firing in Sudden Attack, your weapon is easy to control and your able to hit enemies heads from a long distance.Your not pu

Dragonica Review
By MilesAway
Overiview:
Dragonica is a side scrolling 3D action MMORPG created by Barunson Interractive. Barunson began Dragonica's development in March of 2006 and finally released the game to three locations. Dragonica EU: Gpotato. Dragonica NA: THQ ICE. Dragonica SEA: IAH Games
Gameplay:9/10
Dragonica's game play follows the traditional side scrolling genre, its controls are completely customisable and are very easy to learn. (Maple Story, Wonder King, and Windslayer) but it sets itself apart by focusing on group instances. The game consists of "Mission Maps" for every character level bracket. Each map features five progressive levels. This promotes excellent group community. Most of your experience will be spent playing with three other players.

Character Development: 7/10
The game follows very close to the typical class development seen in most action RPGs. Initially you are able to choose between Thief, Magician, Warrior, and Archer and at level twenty you get to choose again. Jesters/Assassins. Hunters/Rangers. Priests/Battle Mage. Knights/Gladiators. The game however makes your choice simple

Video Game Features "Kill Children" Achievement
By: shine in posted at Aug 21, 2009 2:17 am - 1

Read from Gamepolitics
Fairytale Fights may be the first game that not only features the innocent murder of children, but also an achievement to reward it. After speaking with Playlogic last week, it sounds like the achievement's on the chopping block waiting for the axe to fall, but the children and the you killing them parts, those will definitely be served in the final dish...
Playlogic producer Poria Torkan told UGO that the company does have some concerns about the achievement. The game is scheduled to release on PS3 and Xbox 360. We wonder if Sony and MS will have concerns about licensing it with the dead kids achievement.
Oh, Killing kids for some rewards, what an impressive idea...I wonder if the guy who designs this video game with this dumb gameplay has a kid himself or not. And I'm also curious, anyway, what will be the next on the murdering list in our gaming. Pregnant women?
Discuss.

Multitask is a test of your ability to play multipie games at the same time. At first you will be playing only one simple minigame. As time passes, however, new games will be introduced. One error in any game will cause you to lose, so stay alert! Good Luck! Specific instructions for each minigame will be provided as they are introduced to you.My best record scored 117, and you?

Why is DDO: Eberron Unlimited the best F2P you will find in a while.
By: Dax01 in Dungeons & Dragons Onlineposted at Aug 18, 2009 11:09 am - 3
For more than a year I was addicted to the very controversial Maple Story, because even when it is very childish it has a component that makes it better than a great bunch of games out there: the fact that ability does matters. In all the games I had played before it (were few) and all the other I played later on (all games on MMOsite game list) this feature was never to be found again. The point and click way of moving in most 3D games was for me from lame to pathetic, and those who got the AWSD were just to show off cause when it came to the real deal you still had to point and click to attack. Some also had the idea of adding jumping to the game interaction, never knew why, cause even when you did it is impossible to avoid a monster attack thanks to the “ghost hit” effect. So, I’m one of those guys who likes to jump around and don’t only rely on damage and stats to kill stuff and to not get hit. Avoiding, jumping and climbing is my thing, being able to defend myself even when on disadvantage, feel the heat of battle, not some idiotic auto-attack. I got so pissed when a monster hit me even when I was far away, like if it had rubber hands

Best Way for Human Survival in A Zombie Apocalypse
By: Hyuk in posted at Aug 18, 2009 3:04 am - 3

We love zombie stuff, so do mathematicians...I guess.
A team of mathematicians from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa Canada have created a series of mathematical models to explore the effects of a zombie outbreak and determine the best course for human survival. For the purpose of the paper, the team limited their models to the George Romero slow-moving zombies, and created separate models for zombie infections that cause the infected to resurrect immediately after contact with a zombie and for zombie infections with a 24-hour incubation period.
Okay it sounds funny, the science is even not sure whether zombies really exist on this planet...maybe consider the "research" as a joke, but don't you think it cost too much, at least a waste of money in current days?
The paper examines three possible methods of dealing with a zombie outbreak: quarantine of the zombies, treatmentof zombies so that they once again become human, and impulsive eradication of the zombies whenever possible. The models found that quarantine could work, but the end result would be either the eradication of all zombies or the eradication of all humans; if a cure fo

WASD Vs. Point & Click

WASD VS "POINT" and "CLICK"
By Miles Away
I see a lot of newer games remaking the old school MMO point and click concept. Such as Yulgang, Emil Chronicle, and Dragon Oath and, spending a couple weeks playing them, (Rekindling the nuances of point and click MMOS and ultimately lost in my own nostalgia of Diablo's glory days) ive realised how short the life of MMORPGS has been. It was not until recently that we've started to utilize the WASD Controls compared to the simplified arrow keys. There are still some good aspects regarding these, more traditional, sub genres, but questions arise. Are point and click MMORPGS truly outdated? Are they only a throw-back fad to us old school gamers? Or is there enough potential left in them to stand against the evolution of rpgs?
Ever since WASD was designated the ideal way to play computer MMOS (CSS. WOW) we've all managed to step up and improve our gaming ability. Were, faster, stronger and better. Most of us who have used the forward key have eventually realised how smooth W is. Lets Call this "natural progression" We have reinvented how to use ou

More than 100,000 Sign Starcraft II Lan Play Petition
By: shine in posted at Aug 16, 2009 11:42 pm - 2

To rescue the upcoming Starcraft2's off-line lan play, a petition was up online and has got a lot of players to sign, hopelessly Blizzard still said no. How about now? The petition has already hit more than 100,000, Will it really mean something to greedy Blizzard? I doubt that.
Over 100,000 people have now signed a petition to get Blizzard to include LAN support in StarCraft II. The company confirmed in June that offline network play wouldn’t make the sequel’s final cut.
StarCraft II was recently pushed back into 2010. quotes from VG247
Since the company decided to put no lan-play in SC2, it has made clear that they know there would be complaint. Well that was definitely a big risk, I shall be glad if it turns to a epic fail.
