The BASIC you need to know about Aion.
By: xuzenha in Aionposted at Nov 11, 2009 11:32 pm - 3
Who play Aion probably knows what I'm about to say, but for who just start to play or want to play here is tips and comment about the BASIC you need to know, but all the comments is what I THINK, Just MY opinion. Here we go.
1) There're two kind of races, Elyos and Asmodians. When first time you log you'll have to choose betwewn Elyos or Asmodiansonce you choose, you can't go back. For example: If yoy choose Elyos, you only can play as Elyos, if you decided to play as Asmodian, you'll have to create another account. 2) The map of the two races is completely diferent, as the quest and customization of chars. 3) In both maps have a central city with all the NPC. Elyos is Sanctum and Asmodians is Pandaemonium. 4) Before you reach level 9 try to dig many plants as possibly as you can, so our dig craff up to lvl 15 or you won't be able to dig latter. 5) Go to Opitions and mark the box to show you the distance between you and the mob, for a ranger or a sorcece it can be very usefull. 6) On the Opition you can config the shortcut as you like and hight the helmet if you don't wanna show. (yeah, the helmets can be very weird) 7) The chat box w-

Rape Game Rapelay Now Invades India
By: Hyuk in posted at Nov 10, 2009 12:53 am - 5
I thought the whole hubbub surrounding Japanese rape games (especially Rapelay) would be gone, I was wrong. It was mentioned again by Times of India, which said, Sex games with graphic visuals, including those which test the player’s ‘raping skills’, are making their way to India, mostly from Japan.

Repelay Chikan mode
Rapelay, a 3D game created by a Japanese firm, Illusion, with a storyline prodding the player to rape a woman and her two teen-aged daughters in a moving train, a park and a restroom, is among the hot picks’ in the grey market.
A source involved in direct marketing of foreign goods with suppliers in Chennai’s Parrys and Burma Bazaar markets told Times Of India that he sold 20 copies of Rapelay last week to customers who had placed orders in advance and that 50 more copies are expected in a fortnight.
These are mostly pirated copies made from an original smuggled in from Japan or ordered through online shopping websites earlier. Several websites like Amazon.com had removed Rapelay from its virtual shelves after protests in July.
Gamers say several such hentai (Japanese porn) games are also available on the net and can be

Ragnarok Online PvP/Emperium Builds!

Ragnarok Online PvP/Emperium Builds!
I was thinking of something to write and I remember my Ragnarok PvP Pure Ownage Build. If you’re a Ragnarok Player or A Guild Master, these builds should help your Guild Mates in successfully taking up Castle Siege or defending them and winning PvP Fights. So far, these builds hadn’t been beaten yet and has proven there worth in Ragnarok Online International and Domestic. These builds has let me own PvP rooms 24 hours and I still remember my friend

Top 10 scariest games
By: IulyaSama in posted at Nov 06, 2009 7:50 am - 11
A look back at some of the scariest games ever made. I find classics are usually more well thought out than the new scary games. The only thing I can really say better about the new releases are better graphics but otherwise, classics have always been able to give me the chills.
10.Silent Hill 2-PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC
Silent Hill 2 is only a loose sequel to the 1999’s critically praised survival horror game. It has a similar town settings from its original. But new Protagonist and cast of characters made me play this game and finish it. This game offers 4 unique ending(cool). And upon playing this game again and again with different level of difficulty of course, you will be able to find hidden objects as well as special weapons such as the chain saw, which severs enemies completely in half. Silent Hill 2 suffers a bit from being too close to its predecessor in terms of gameplay, but it does manage to scare up enough dread to be a worthy game for fans of the genre.

9. Alone in the Dark-PC
This game is one of the oldest Survival Horror game out there just following the 1989 Sweet Home by Capcom.
Players are given the option of choosing between a male or female cha

The Top 10 Most Overrated
By: LordYanLiang in posted at Nov 06, 2009 6:00 am - 2

Anyone born in the 80s was born into a magical time in the world of gaming. Sure, they (or you) may have missed the Atari family of consoles, or even things like the Collecovision or Intellivision or other such 70s competitors, but we lived in a magical time because we had the Nintendo Entertainment System (or Famicom, for those living in that region of the world). We came up in what many people would consider the "golden age" of gaming -- we had the Super Nintendo, the Sega Genesis, even the PlayStation 1 and the Nintendo 64, and we had many of the original PC classics like Doom and Wolfenstein. We had a lot of classic games back in our day -- some that have a timeless appeal that all the high-graphics and flash can never capture. But we also lived in a dark age of video games.

Video Game Addiction: 5 Extreme Cases
By: Hyuk in posted at Nov 06, 2009 1:31 am - 0
(This article is originally from Asylum)Even guys who don't suffer from video game addiction are sometimes unable to resist the thrill of killing a few more shambling zombies, saving the princess or winning World War II.
But for those gamers out there who simply cannot put the controller down, video game addiction is a much more serious affliction, as was reinforced by Michael Fahey of Kotaku recently coming forward with the story of an "EverQuest" addiction that cost him his car, job and girlfriend.
The outpouring of similar stories in the comments section of this post reminded us that while the affliction isn't officially recognized by psychiatrists yet, to those who have suffered from it, it is very real. Keep reading to explore some of the more extreme cases of video game addiction.
Failed Intervention?
This clip from the TV show "Intervention" focuses on a young man who plays both "Halo" and "Dance Dance Revolution" with equal intensity. Swearing when you're tea-bagged by a high-pitched 12-year-old from the U.K. we can understand, but it doesn't take a psychiatrist to know something is wrong when a guy screams and flips off a carto

Rumored "Halo: Reach" Screenshots Leak From Microsoft HQ
By: Princessdoll in posted at Nov 05, 2009 6:34 pm - 1

The above shot was taken by a user in the Major League Gaming forums nicknamed, predictably, Tom Morello. I'm hoping that that's not his real name, as the NDA he most likely signed would prohibit the screen capture of gameplay from what appears to be "Halo: Reach," but his risk is our gain, as he managed to cap off a few shots on his cell phone of some of the weapons that'll be featured in the game:

If these are fake, they're extremely well done. Everything looks very much like an upgraded "Halo," though "Reach" taking place in the past doesn't make much sense, given what appears to be an upgraded version of the needler. What are your thoughts? Look legit?

Comic-Con founder dies at age 76, too
By: shine in posted at Nov 05, 2009 1:00 am - 0
In my previous report, the live-action Mario passed away at 76 years old, that's why I hate to say "too". I don't even know the founder of Comic-con, anyway I'm sorry to hear it, here's the news.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Shel Dorf, the founder of Comic-Con International in San Diego, one of the biggest comic book conventions in the world, has died at age 76, a spokesman said on Wednesday.
Dorf died Tuesday at a San Diego hospital, where he spent much of this year being treated for diabetes.
The first convention in 1970 was attended by only about 300 people, but this year Comic-Con International attracted more than 125,000 for what has become a gathering of comic lovers, movies and TV fans, and pop culture followers worldwide.
A fan of comic strips, Dorf for a time worked in comics and he was friends with many comic artists, including Jack Kirby. He created the comic convention with the help of friends, said David Glanzer, a spokesman for the convention.
"Shel had notable foresight in not only believing these people needed some public acknowledgment, but that this truly was an American art form t

Review: Alliance of Valiant Arms (Ijji)
By: CalebG in Alliance of Valiant Armsposted at Nov 04, 2009 8:16 pm - 0
A while back, I reviewed the Japanese version of A.V.A, but since then, A.V.A has went open beta in Ijji, in English! I have thus decided to write another review for the Ijji version.
What is A.V.A?

Not sure who the good and bad guys are, the blue guys have a masked guy and the red has a hooded guy...
A.V.A, or Alliance of Valiant Arms, or the game with too long a name that don't quite mean anything is a typical Online FPS that has two sides, a few different game modes and the ability to purchase various weaponry.
However, unlike games like Combat Arms from Nexon with whom I still have a gripe with, it does things slightly differently.
The Look
A screen shot showing the detail textures of the character, the shadow system, etc.
Using the Unreal Engine, it is arguably the most pretty looking game in it's genre. Of course, This would mean a higher minimum system requirements, but the game still does look pretty good even at the lowest settings. But a game is not only based on it's looks, so let's move on to the other unique features.
Details like rank and clan badge can actually be seen on the sleeves of the character, though, usually you don't notice them.
Game Modes
