A lot of kids go crazy on the net this year, remember the guy whose WoW account got canceled by mother?  so here's one more to add to 2009's freaking out list. An ecstatic boy gets an Xbox 360 for Christmas and screams in delight before performing a dance. I would be that exciting too if I was in his age. Wish him a wondeful gaming life :)

Btw, what have you got as the Christmas present?

Music and mmorpgs

For so long gamers were  trying to do things that keep the grinding of their mmorpgs not as boring as it should be. One of those are related to music since listening  our favorite play list in our mmorpg,  has became practically a formal use to stop the boredom . however , we should realize that there are some facts that won’t allow us to do so  . this will definitely apply in a particular situation in which  our computers , notebooks  or laptops don’t have enough requirements for listening  music and running our favorite mmorpg  at the same time . in other words , we are used to grind or do quests with music because it’s  just an  important component of what it takes to kill the same monsters in a non-stop way for hours and hours . thus , we must remember that an exaggerating grinding is the main cause of why many gamers quit their favorite mmorpgs .that's why music  has been a common custom in online games because  it helps us a lot to reduce the amount of time , we will spend since we know grinding times are hard depending on what kind of game we are talkin about . despite the big grinding time that w

Will Playstation 4 Lead the Visual Revolution?

Although its future is still cloudy, the new game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment, Playstation 4, is not that far from us now. You can check the company's report to learn its design, including scrapping the Cell design entirely and moving towards a traditional PC multi-core processor.

Next two paragraphs are from IGN.com.

Tech writer Hiroshige Goto says Sony is also looking at a new, modified version of the Cell processor, and Intel's Larrabee chipset as possible candidates. He also says that it seems unlikely we'll see a release of the 'PS4' until 2012 at the earliest, as it usually takes two years for a console to go from concept into full production.

While the PlayStation 3's Cell processor has its advantages over the competition, many third-party developers still seem to be having difficulty programming for it, as recently seen with SEGA's Bayonetta port. Whatever they choose to do, though, it's refreshing to see Sony focusing on being more developer-friendly for the future.

In my opinion, the PS3 cell is good enough now, they just need to upgrade the console and improve its performance. PS3's cell pr

When fanaticism surpasses reality

The game is over, we failed but we would kill for another chance of getting that shinning and awesome item . Unfortunately, we couldn’t  get the opportunity . For some odd reason , we feel like our world is going down  and the end is near because we couldn’t manage , handle and get what we wanted . if the game is over  our own lives are as well . thus , we want to play so much a mmorpg that we forgot we have a life , a family and friends but if we went that far and we preferred our games  over the people we love it’s obviously we are losing control of ourselves and the world we live in . it will be more evident if we have our laptops and computers with some stickers of the game we love or  all of our t-shirts , furniture , house decorations  and many more things are made of  specially of  our beloved mmorpg .in fact , it will stink so much if we don’t have a single thing  in our houses decorated with the game,  we love with our own souls ( this might be an exaggeration for everyone but believe me it’s true ) . clearly , this is a big example of fanaticism in real life  .even though most of us under

A Trip to the Past and the Future

Gaming. Probably man's greatest invention. Gaming captivates so many people due to its ability to give the player a new body and a new world to explore. It is truely something enjoyed by its currently estimated 69% of the world's population. The gaming industry has taken off from its starting roots in 1958 with "Tennis for Two" (not Pong). Gaming may seem amazing now, but in the near future, our prized games and system of today will be like "Tennis for Two".

Tennis for two

Tennis for Two recreated for its 50th anniversary.

Gaming in the not-too-distant past. Super Nintendo was released in America in 1991. This 16-bit system layed the foundation for great gaming with its focus on gameplay over graphics. Many great games were made for the SNES to make Nintendo the leading game company at that time. Following the sucess of the SNES, Nintedo released the Nintendo 64 gaming system. This badboy brought something new to the table, good (at that time) 3D graphics and gameplay(even though PlayStation by Sony did come out with 3D graphics, their 32-bit CPU were nothing compared to the 64-bit CPU of the N64). Many great games such as SuperMario 64 and The Legend

Overhyped games of 2009

Halo 3: ODST

The United Halo Hater's Local 310 Union would have been furious if I hadn't included this one. ODST introduced the great Firefight mode and shipped with every Halo 3 map and mode, but the actual campaign fell pretty short. The game sold well, but critical and consumer response was the most muted ever for a Halo game. ODST gets the 10th spot on the list because its hype and marketing was relatively low for the series - Bungie has gone on record say the game was mismarketed.

DJ Hero

DJ Hero fascinated games journalists from its first unveiling because of its unique take on the music genre. The game garnered more coverage than any other music game this year and generally glowing reviews. The controller was well received, as were the included mixes. However, the gaming public

Official versus Private game servers

When a mmorpg is ready for the commercial release  . there’s a possibility that these so called illegal ‘ private servers’ pop out . anyhow do we really know what exactly are private servers? . it seems  like  private servers are supposed to be a a fake game server  made from stolen files of a particular online game . but this doesn’t happen most of the times , since the people who work  for this kind of stuff (

Warriors Orochi Z Review

Since there hasn't been any good MMOs out recently, I decided to review the PC version of Warriors Orochi Z. There are currently no plans to release it in the US or EU. Its basically both of the Warriors Orochi games put together with a few fixes and adjustments. They added new stages, made the game engine more efficient, and tossed in a few extra things here and there. For those that don't know, Warriors Orochi is a "What If" scenario where the Dynasty Warriors were to meet the Samurai Warriors thanks to an interdimensional demon wanting to kick some butt. The problem is that I had to run this game on my laptop so the quality of the screenshots provided is somewhere from medium to low quality. The character models should be on medium, background should be on low, and my view d
