World or Warcraft Subscription Base drops by 1.3 Mio as Patch 5.3 draws nigh

As Patch 5.3 is in its final testing phase on PTR, Activision Blizzard has issued a press release, stating their subscriber loss.

In the first quarter of 2013, the amount of subscribers has dropped by 1.3 million. In Q4 2012, the base was at 9.6 million players.

Blizzard is expecting to lose even more subscribers at the end of the year. Even though World of Warcraft still remains the biggest MMORPG, Blizzard should swallow their pride and really do something before they destroy the piggy of their income.

What's the root of the problem?

I'm really asking, since I am not entirely certain about the answer. Of course, World of Warcraft had its peak during Burning Crusade till the start of Wrath. Even though Wrath had the best lore foundation to become the best expansion, it instead, st

FFXIVARR: The Job System Overview (What will YOU be?)

Three more weeks until Phase 3 begins!

I've decided to compile a nice job overview

(As a lot of new people will be seeing other players in this gear)

Paladin, Dragoon, Whitemage, Blackmage, Warrior, Bard and Monk

In FFXIV 1.0, you were able to unlock one of these jobs once you attained level 30

and level 15 in a corresponding class and then completed a quest

for the job's soul crystal, which allowed you to freely change into

that class whenever you wanted.

By meeting certain prerequisites, Disciples of War or Disciples of Magic can change from their classes to more specialized jobs. Taking on a job gives characters access to exclusive skills and actions.

PALADIN (PLD)

The paladin job sacrifices maximum HP, but this is compensated by way of greatly enhanced defense as well as the ability to cast he

Neverwinter... Hype it or not...? Hype train!!!!

Hey peeps, I am back for a while, the real world can be crazy sometimes and is about to go crazier soon, the thing is that for some reason I am taking a small break of the real world and I am once again looking for stuff about games and so forth...

So the thing is... Neverwinter...!!! A lot of people is talking about that game, they are hyping it because is Neverwinter and because the original NW games had a bunch of fans. Not to mention that a lot of the trailers and the videos around the net look so good. I understand there is some reasons to hype this game.

After all, the old Neverwinter games are kinda fun and they do have a sense of complexity in the game, it was fun to play and in the end, every neverwinter game, is a cult game. If you ask me, the old Neverwinter game had its own merits and it was fun to play. It is normal to have a massive hype train in some high profile games, like a sequel to a beloved game by some people.

Unfortunately, I am a bit concern because Cryptic studi

Sooooo yea I'm back!!! On a alternate pc basically because mine is dead duck. But that aside we have a new dungeon/raid instance. I give it a great high five for actually being a challenge. I have been very critical of things just rolling over loot for us. But this time we won't be disappointed by that.

Why Hackers Tend To Appear More Often In Different Games

I know that there will always be hackers regardless of what game you play. But recently I have encounter constant complaints and hacker paranoia by players. Even when there is NO hacks that can be proven or have evidence against I have found it rather frustrating that players are accusing other players of hacking. There are some games where hackers can run wild freely and there are some games where hackers are constantly shutout. Sometimes it is not always the xtrap, punkbuster, gameshield etc fault, but the amount of players wanting to hack.

Popular and a more Wide Base games are always bound to have hackers

Usually I find games that are older and more readily available to different players across the world is eventually bound to have

announced that Phase 3 of BETA has been pushed back

into early June, due to SONY needing to certify the PS3 version

before anymore actions to proceed can be taken.

But that's not stopping SE from sharing what's to come!

Today new screenshots of the re-vamped cities of Limsa Lominsa and Uldah

have surfaced on the developer's facebook page, and probably more will

show up within the coming weeks as Phase 3 (slowly but surely) closes in.
