I'm just gotta let this out in the open. Atlus are a bunch of brand rapists... well in the US/North American terrorities anyways. This is the company where they acquired and publish the most attractive games (Dark Souls, 3D Dot Com Heroes) and the 'fans' thinks that Atlus produced it all only to get cheated on by their own fans. I cannot walk down the street alongside a brother which I can call an atlus fan and have him yell at me telling me how Atlus runs there business!
Their giant logo takes up the entire screen while the producers of the game have really forgettable names and logos (and Atlus knows this).
While Atlus is just a name is the most suitable name for any company in Japan however it doesn't seem to work in America. Japan is very advanced when it comes down to technology when the US are more of a commercial everyone has to have it crowd.
Japanese players are very loyal towards themselves no matter how niche the games are markContinue Reading

1) The Motorcycle
Everyone knows that they want to see their avatars ride the motorcycle. I'm talking about handling the motorcycle. Look at the picture, this is what it looks like when you have this and you'll have to cough up loads of money just to do this.
You even have a first person view with no sight of handle bars or anything like that. It's just a gimmick!
2) The Story
The story is set between Megaten 2 and 3. This information is just to keep current players engaged however it doesn't mean it direct to any of it. It's just a spin-off and actually has nothing to do with with the story. This MMO is branded with Shin Megami Tensei and it doesn't show.
Many players expected a story but it's been almost 2 yearContinue Reading
Aeria Games had a contest where the winners get their work presents as the loading screen in Imagine. This contest allowed the entire community to interact and take part. This is encouraging as it shows that anyone can have their add something really amazing to the game if they try and be part of the team.
2) The Stories Characters
As an MMO, let alone a video game, the greatest thing which can be said is that about this MMO is that the characters have alot of personality. During the course of playing the MMO, there a few characters that you'll meet that will interact with. Each with their own personalities and models which are fully animated. They all do different things. This is something that's great about this MMO.
3) Demon Compendium
You can register demonsContinue Reading

Aeria Games clearly doesn't care about SMT: Imagine anymore so it been relocated to the home of Shin Megami Tensei Series, Atlus Online. This page will tell you what to expect
The website stands on it's own with a complete layout of Imagine. You wouldn't have to care so much about Japan MegaTen page as this is a good stand from Atlus.
The installation is a low weighing 10mb downloadable. If you already have the client from Aeria Games, the installation will just replace the starter up file.
The client launcher looks alot better without the Aeria Games crap displayed around it, making it alot more professional to launch Imagine as you run it this time around and from there, you'll be able to run the game.
A few Aeria Games players had a few problems migaratContinue Reading

For those of you who play Megaten, you already heard about how the game is switching its hosting over to Atlus Online instead of Aeria Games. You probably also know about the event they held during march where all of the AP you spent during that time would be refunded to you in April before the game makes the big move. Well that time has come, and the email has been sent out.
Well...The email was sent out on Tuesday, I actually didn't notice it till today though when I was filtering through my email accounts. The email you get is like the one to the left, which is a copy of mine. You get a recap of what the event was and how you can redeem your points. Those who follow the Shin Megami Tensei series are delighted that it's got an MMO. However the question is what does this MMO offer for the current fans of the series and what does it do for the new players.
After playing the game for over 300 hours, I've come to the idea that this MMO does offer something interesting for strategic player. The in-depth combat system allows you to build your skill sets using a Expertise sys em, which allows you to unlock new skills, select any weapon that the client offers, from a sword or rifle just to name a few.
The story starts you off as a Demon Buster Trainee in a futuristic ruins of Tokyo. As you process the story, you raise your ranks as you complete the chapters in the main quest, however while the story isn't complete and their news on possible future updates, it's a good start. The interesting part is that although the client makes the story mode extremely difficult for the player to complete solo, teaming up means that completing those
