Nexon America has released “Operation Second Wind,” new content for its high-intensity, online first person shooter, “Combat Arms,” that includes battle map in a market called Bloodbath Bazaar, adds new game modes to its Death Row map, adds user interface improvements and new weapons to its enormous armory.

“Combat Arms,” which has millions of registered players in North America, features the market-themed map, Bloodbath Bazarr in its newest content update. This map, based in Turkey, is the epicenter for chemical weapons smuggling, which results in a massive firefight between forces where a variety of combatant’s skills can be put to use. The map allows for tactics such as all-assault as teams vie to control the map’s two courtyards. The map gives ample cover and high-windows for skilled snipers to take down their enemies. A stealthy player can also use the market’s many shade-giving awnings to jump from to out-flank and surprise their enemies.

Now, we've all heard of Nexon right? Who created the giant "Maplestory" but did you know that they also released a first person shooter (FPS) by the name of Combat Arms. Well they did and I am going to tell you a little about it.


Combat arms is an "MMO-FPS" which is free to play, although it's graphics are not great standard it's a Nexon product so it comes to no suprise to those familiar with them. Combat arms is a fairly large game with players from all over the world and although it's bountiful with cheaters commonly known as "Hackers" it has many other great features such as an amazing variety of weapons and armour bought with In-Game Money known as "GP" but of course like all Free to play games, there an item shop and like every item shop it's bursting with weapons you can buy with real money to give you that little advantage against everyone else, oops did I say little? I meant huge, the Nexon cash store offers extremely powerfull weap

Combat Arms is a crazy MMO FPS with very addictiong gameplay style.

            I have been told by many of my so-called business partners that my “flavor” of games is not only fighting games, but the FPS, or first-person shooter. Admittedly, I have played my fair share of console FPSs, including, but not limited to, Call of Duty 3 and 5, RedSteel, and Halo 3. However, I have never set foot near an MMOFPS as opposed to a console-based FPS. Curious to see how similar or different those three letters made, I decided to dip my game-reviewing toes into the bullet-riddled waters of Nexon’s recently released Combat Arms. I must say, I was not disappointed.

Combat Arms is a traditional first-person shooter with an interesting twist that I’ll delve deeper into further in this review. When I first logged in I was a bit confused as to what in blazes was going on. After choosing a character model, Combat Arms’ menu throws everything at you all at once without explaining what to do or how to do it. It's been a long while since I last wrote here, partially because I was really busy, and any spare time would be with my bed, or with my significant other.

Now, other then the usual going out and having fun, we have fun playing games, and one of the games we have found fun recently was Combat Arms. Combat Arms is a great game; it has just the right amount of adrenalin pumping gameplay mixed with the tactical, and most of the maps are made rather well.

However,  there is one thing that frustrated my girl to no end, where she has officially given up with the game, is not the cheaters, but getting her account banned in total of 2 times, for well, playing the game.

She didn't hack, she isn't exceptionally good at the game and she doesn't speak, if at all. She did try to say Hello once, and got it censored out (I'm guessing you can't say hell in the game), and that is about it.

Her K/D Ratio is barely  what I would call hacker like, and her hit ratio isn't something to shout about either.

This game is cool. Not bad. IT is an FPS. There is modern warfare. modern weapons. Different types of modes to play. Different maps. Its a good game. NOt that it is the best game. It is good. I recomend it to the people who don't like slow games. If you like head shots and multi-kills then this game is for you. Just recently the y added a new improvement. The nut shot. I am pretty sure it doesn't apply to girls. SO its a good game. There might be a few abusive players but bot that much. Oh, and it is free. The compny is called Nexon.
