Global Agenda First Two Hours

By: Scion Storm posted at Jan 09, 2014 5:30 pm

Giving a look at all mmorpg. The next game I look at is Global Agenda. This game was before all of the latest Hybrid shooter mmo's out. It has ups and it has downs. The most noteable thing about the game. Is basically it's fun run and gun. Still at this current date a lot needs to be refined. But it's free and worth a look.

looking for a agency for pvp

By: overlordkaidan posted at Jun 15, 2012 11:59 am

The story of why I'm on MMOsite.

If I recall correctly i joined MMOsite so i could get some free booster time on Global Agenda, the booster helped speed my recon to level 30 before it expired. now on Global Agenda I am with out an agency and I seek to join a new one. Sadly I'm not often on Global Agenda anymore but When I am on I tend to PVP most of the time and I have quite a bit of skill doing so and would like to see these skills put to use in AvA combat. Furthermore on GA i have my crafting skills on the rise for AvA and other such useful things I hope i will find a clan to join who does not mind i am a casual GA player, if I am called online for practice or for some PvP I will join in if I'm not busy in my real life.

My Steam name is snakebite1027 please contact me here also

Global Agenda 1.5: Recursive Colony Expansion

By: Zevri posted at Sep 22, 2011 5:36 pm
Yesterday, Hi-Rez Studios released their new expansion with the 1.5 version of the game, The Recursive Colony. This is the first big patch since the game went free-to-play, and also the biggest patch in the games history. The new patch/expansion adds several new features, some new contend and some fixes to the game. With the expansion came a trailer, which you can view at the end of the article. One of the major highlights with the new patch comes a new open zone called North Sorona.  From the patch notes the new area, “continues where Dr. Bolonov left off in observing the Recursive Colony at New Yuma. The Colony has grown increasingly aggressive and is now encroaching heavily on ARM territory. This zone leads players out into the northern part of the Sonoran reContinue Reading

Global Agenda review

By: Mandifesto posted at Sep 22, 2010 3:37 pm

In the world of sci-fi free-to-play MMOs, the pickings can be as barren as a postapocalyptic wasteland.  Luckily Hi-Rez Studios has brought us Global Agenda, a game that fulfills an RPG lovers sci-fi fix without requiring subscription fees or convoluted combat systems. This summer their first expansion, Sandstorm, introduced players to the harsh expanse of the Sonoran Desert, and with it, a bevy of new quests, rival factions, and expanded PvE and PvP gameplay.  Now that UK players are also getting the opportunity to experience this new content, we figured it was high time that we put Global Agenda to the test. Is this really a game worth playing, or should you pass it up in favor of one of its competitors.

At its core, Global Agenda is a solid sci-fi shooter.  The quality of

Revisit: Global Agenda

By: CalebG posted at Feb 21, 2010 10:59 pm

Global Agenda has since launched, as as promised, here is a revisit of the game.

To bring people up to speed, Global Agenda is an MMOFPS, but unlike Planetside, it functions quite akin to WoW's Battlegrounds, where one enters a staging area, a virtual lobby if you will, and joined a queue for the various PvP and PvE matches.

To find out more, you can revisit my old article, Beta Look: Global Agenda.

Not much have changed with the basic structure; you still play the same few maps with random game modes for PvP and set PvE maps. But before you disregard everything else, please do note that the developers Hi Rez has since announced content update, starting with an open world area.

What does this mean? Simply put, it is a significant shift from what could be called a graphically represented lobby, room and matchmaking system. Players would soon be able to run around on a map, and see others running around while completing quests and objectives.

So you can be sure you wi

Beta Look: Global Agenda

By: CalebG posted at Jan 15, 2010 12:58 am

Finally, I'm talking about true online games again! Global Agenda has just lifted the NDA, which means that I can freely talk about Global Agenda, what I saw, and what I think it will be in the near future. Take this as a first look of the game though, as due to the prior betas' crazy time schedule, I couldn't really play and it is only recently where the time has changed did I manage to get a good hour or two in.

The Setting

Global Agenda is set in the future, and you play in one of the independent factions that are fighting against the Commonwealth, an oppressive government body that grew to power from the ashes of the third world war. Yup, it makes as much sense as your average action flick, but in a way, the difference between Global Agenda and a traditional fantasy based game like World of Warcraft is indeed like comparing an action flick with a epic trilogy.

But that isn't necessarily bad.

Expect lots of robotics, high tech armors and weapons, jet packs for every single player, and the like.

Starting Out

You start out by creating your character and are given a few customization options for your character. Now, don't go expect full morphing features from the likes of AOC o
