So I was bored and looking a new MMO to waste time until LaTale comes out, and I couldn't find virtually anything new at mmosite. I was desperate and figured hey, I haven't looked at mmorpg.com in while, I am sooo glad I did!  There were a few games running in open beta that mmosite really advertised at all from what I can see!  I was actually kind of suprised.  But anywho, one of the MMOs is called Zu Online.  I think its pretty damn fun, and I am not usually a fan of cell shaded graphics, but man the way they did it is just plain awesome.

I totally recommend checking it out :]..the game so far (I am level 26) is more quest driven instead of it being a grind fest, which is a nice break from the more recent games I have played.  Zu online is just very entertaining and light hearted.  Let me know if you join!  The teleport system is some nice eye candy as well. There are five classes, which seem unique, but I have only tried out 2.

Okay so an edit of yesterday- I am in Xun faction, silly me. I managed to get up to level 24 today, and I'm still enjoying it. I've met a fair few people now and have a grand total of 4 friends. Hooray.

Anyway, I've started exploring the pet system, and it turns out it's pretty fun. You just sit there and walk your pet and it picks up food and then you feed the food to it to level it up or whatever, leaving you free to chat with other people doing the same thing as you. At level 40, you can ride your pet, which I'm looking forward to as mine is a flying pig named Oink. However, its only level 17 right now so it could be a while. Also, every level up means that it boosts your stats a little more, which is really useful. They also learn spells, but I'm nowhere near that level yet...

The quest system is still fun and guiding me through everything, and I killed another boss, just letting my puppet kick its ass without lifting a finger

Oh and I got a hat which gives me a creepy baby head too. Yeah creepy just sums it up really. This is me in the "Dead Soul Cave" I think.

So I just started to play "Zu Online" by IGG. I have chosen the class of summoner, as they seem to have benefits of summoned creatures and high power magic attack.

First impressions: Seems to be a great game, the 2d background with cell shaded 3d characters works to give it a really individual look. It took me 2 hours or so to get to level 10 and I haven't hit a grind yet. I also didn't get hit by a monster until level 14, thanks to my ranged attacks and my "Ghost puppet" summon. The think that hit me was what I can only assume was a boss, as it had huge amounts of health and I could only find one. I enjoyed flying everywhere as you get to see a lot of the landscape. So far I've just been questing, and each quest guides you through a new aspect of the game. One quest told me to get 5 friends, but I haven't seen anyone around, i guess because the server is 3 days old... If anyone wants to add me I'm in the Wu faction and my name is Archaeon.

Havent done this in a while but here i go...

ZU Online is a massivly multiplayer online role playing game hosted by the company IGG. ZU online is a chinese kung fu based MMO. Although it is chinese kung fu based, you dont see to much of that in the game. I looked and could not find too much of the theme. The game is similar to RF online with its different factioins and pvp system. The game may not seem to cool at first because of its very cartoony characters but after you start playing you wont be able to stop.

Zu Online has server classes that make this game stand out a bit. There is the Moonmaiden The theif based class, Sun Warrior The uber tanker of the game, Swordsman The Hit-and-run Nuker, Bead Fairy The clerics, and last but not least Summoners. Each class brings its own thing to the game. The only problem being is that they are not well balanced. Sun Warriors are to most people a bit overpowered and bead faries a bit under powered. Each of the Three factions Wu, Tai, and Xun can have each of the classes.

The money system in this game is the worst i have seen yet. There are three different types here. Gold, Silver and Bones. T

Long, long ago, the Sun Warriors studied Tantra in the North Temple, while the evil Dragon Lord rampaged and slaughtered innocent people. Fortunately Master Mind stepped up to the plate, and he sealed the dragon in a hieron at the cost of his life. However after the war between Good and Evil, the Dragon Lord gradually regained its consciousness. So the Sun Warriors came to Desert City…. 

 

When your level reaches 40+ , you can find Jaba in Swallow Peak, and he will teleport you to North Temple.

 
Sun Warriors can buy spell books from Master Dazang in Trisec Palace of North Temple. Players can also find Shilun in Renaissance Hall of Nobleness Mountain, he sells lvl 3 and lvl 4 equipment to all players. Other players can buy potions from Tsan in Morality Hall, and these potions can be used to restore HP and MP. Players with too many items can find Loosa to deposit their unused items. If players want to make money, they can go to find Fushen on the Chanting Platform, and he will offer players the Commercial Travel quest, if players perform well, they can get a lot of money, if they don’t perform well, then they may lose much money.
