By: GeorgeWashington posted at Dec 04, 2011 11:07 pm - 2
Whats up MMOSite.com, today I have something a tad special for you guys... Biowares Warhammer Online Wrath Of Heroes mini PVP style game that is somewhat of a seperate client of Warhammers PVP, but revamped and redesigned to meet Biowares expectations and style. The game is a tab target style Mini MMO that uses map design to combat the typical style of combat you get with a tab target MMORPG.
Question Of The Video:Do you think Tab Target combat is dieing and Action combat is the future? Or no? Why or why not? Tell me your insights down in the comment section of this video or in the comment section below! Im curious to hear your thoughts!

Warhammer Online : No f2p in our plans
By: Lion NY posted at Oct 17, 2011 2:29 am - 0
BioWare Mythic VP Eugene Evans stated yesterday in an interview with PCGamer that Warhammer Online is in fact not going the route of Free-to-Play stating,
Right now, we’re focused on [arena-based spin-off] Wrath of Heroes as our free-to-play offering in the Warhammer universe. We believe in the community of players who are playing Age of Reckoning. Yes, we could have attracted a lot of players to it [with free-to-play], but it’s unclear how long you’ll keep them. We wanted to support our game as it currently exists.

WarHammer Online: Still holding on.
By: KingBabar posted at Dec 11, 2009 8:32 am - 2
It's hard to mention WAR without "W0W Cl0ne" coming to mind. But instead of comparing the two to each other, I will simply inform readers of WAR's status in the MMO market.
At release the game sold 500,000 copies in the first week alone. EA’s announcement dubs Warhammer Online "the fastest-selling new MMO of all time" while reminding us that the game was EA’s "most highly pre-ordered PC title." Though the accusations of Blizzard Entertainment suing WAR were fun to think about, it never came about. The simple reason for this was because WAR was in developement before WoW. In an interview with Ten Ton Hammer, one of the developers stated that half of the reasons people left WoW was to try WAR ( middle of 2008 ). Now it is being reported that people are flocking back to WoW by the thousands, thanks to their new expansion pack, soon to come in the following years.
Though rumors of WAR dying and the playerbase decreasing every month is disheartening to hear, there is a bright side, the rumors are false. The player base has increased 77% from it release to present day. NVIDIA

About RvR Balance: Population Balance
By: Arthas411 posted at Nov 25, 2008 11:02 am - 0
Population balance may not seem like a big issue, after all, in other popular MMOs, like World of Warcraft, the balance of a server barely seems to make a difference (trust me I was on a hugely imbalanced server). However, in Warhammer, each zone has a world pvp section that gives specific advantages to whichever side is winning thus making any population imbalances much more serious than in WoW where there is hardly any world PvP.

Now, I don't know about you, everybody has different experiences and everybody plays at different times, but personally, I have no idea what it's like to be in a zone that has the perks for winning in the world PvP. Every single day that I log on, Destruction has the entire territory dominated. It's gotten to the point where I don't even bother checking the status of the zone anymore simply because I already know what's happening; Destruction controls all points, and even if Order did mount an offense against one of them and secured it a "recapture" Destruction team twice there size is probably already on the way to re-secure it.
Likewise, simply PvPing outside a scenario has become tedious. Why bother even attempting to PvP when the likely

Warhammer Online
Fantasy MMORPG
What is Warhammer?
If you ask this... I feel sorry for you mate. Warhammer Lore is so beautiful; it brings tears to my eyes. What started as a tabletop game by the gamesworkshop became what the franchise is today, PC games, Art, Hell; even books. Warhammer was another one of those tabletop games with complex systems and different rulesets; Very fun on its own however expensive. Then it went on to books describing more indepth details of the lore.
After the things that won't interest too many, we move on to the PC games which started as unknown companies using the name to lure people... FireWarrior and a couple other small time games came to play but never really shone itself to the world. It disappointed even Warhammer fanatics.
Then came Dawn Of War, which dawned the new beauty of the Warhammer world; an RTS game that captures much of the original warhammer concepts...
But we're talking Warhammer Online now. Created by Mythic and directed by TheGamesWorkshop; we are pretty much guaranteed tha
