Vote to bring back the old Runescape
By: End_Break_Fomar posted at Feb 23, 2013 4:15 pm - 0
Runescape was, for many of us, the first mmorpg we ever laid hands on. As time went on, the game eventually strayed from greatness and into the age of "Ruinedscape". Well, now people are calling for the old Runescape even more. Was it because of the recent combat change to Runescape? Probably. Anyways, you can now bring back the days of nostalgia and greatness by voting for the return of the Runescape of circa 2007. You will need to be a member, however once 750k votes are obtained, free players can also enjoy the good days of Runescape. Voting ends March 1st, 2013.
Yes, the tutorial island will be there. Along with the old graphics. The old servers will be brought back and be separate from the modern Runescape servers. So far, there about 78 worlds open, but more could come as we are still in the voting period.
Much of the decline of Runescape can be blamed on the purchase of the game by an investment group. Notice the cash shop hype and greed splattered over a game where everyth

Runecrafting

Ahhhhhhhh!
Is most people's reaction when it comes to the daunting skill we all know and "love".
I'm now just over 200k xp off 94 runecrafting, and let me tell you, when you get to that stage, you just want to throw all your runes on the floor and scream naked around varrock in anger. Or is that just me? Hell we all hate it, and those who enjoy it need to consult a doctor!
So how did I get to 93 Runecrafting...
Simple
Tasks up to Elite - Worth the time for the 150k+ xp Rewards at the end
Penguins - Gives me a weekly 38k xp towards the skill
Troll Invasion - A healthy 70k xp a month
All these require little effort, which suits me fine!
Fuck Runecrafting though, anyone have an opinion on it? Comment!

Runescape

Runescape is an MMORPG. You can chat with other players, do quests, level up. Its an easy gane. But some things are hard. Some not all. Its a god game for slow players. It is free or you can pay $5-$7 a month for membership. There is many skills and quests, well, most quests are for members (mems). But there a lot of things to do. I you die you lose everything you have except for 3 things. There is banks so don't worry. If you get to a certain level you can get into guilds. Its fun and famous. They are also user centered wich means, everything they do is for you, the player. They do what ever they can do to enhance your experience. The maker is called Jagex which also made Funorb and is currently making Mechscape.

Runescape Review!
By: Cryroth posted at Dec 11, 2008 8:49 am - 0
Howdy , Im glad to present Runescape Review .
Let's start off , im going to review Runescape 2 HD and not the Runescape 1 or Runescape 2 (no HD).
-Let start with the Graphics:
The graphics in Runescape are not the top notch , they are one of the best web based graphic released, there no point to argue to say Runescape graphic is a major F (fail ) factor compared to client based MMO's,with the HD patch the graphic of Runescape just go better but sure not the best if you want to compare to client based MMO's.
-Content:
Runescape have alot of content to sastify MMO's player's for a long period of time .ex: mining, fishing, cooking etc...does are called life skills or just crafting skills they are many in-game .the life skills are hard to max (99) it can be a total grind in the end tier level of you're crafting skills but it will compensate you by accessing to new or able to make new powerfulll armor, weapons , making you rich by selling them .
-Quest:
the Quest in Runescape are fun to do and do not ask you to kill 100 X monster to get Y item, most of them ask you to get this item for X reason ( surely funny sometimes) or make a item to get another item you need,

Review: Runescape

After more than 7 years, Jagex still gets things right.
Runescape

One of the highly-populated, highly-immersive MMORPG games to date, Runescape, still never ceases to amaze even after so many years. The game is expansive, stimulating, and addicting. It’s seriously one of the best games I have ever played.
Forsooth, brilliance is thine!
Runescape does what every amazing game should do: iron out bugs and glitches, smoothen the gameplay and graphics, while continually offering new content to improve the already incredible game. And to think this masterpiece is actually browser-based.
For players of Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights, Runescape would feel very familiar – point-and-click gameplay, the default isometric view, numerous different locales, and dozens of hours of gameplay. Then, you’ll reconsider the thought… Runescape isn’t as similar as these games! Runescape is an entirely different gaming universe! Within the first few minutes (or hours), you’ll find that this game stands tall on it own as a fun MMO with an amazing story and unique gameplay.

Runescape partly has the looks of a typical MMORPG. Aside from the usual M

Runescape and Runescape HD
By: TarromX posted at Aug 31, 2008 7:12 am - 1
Runescape is one of my favorite MMO game ever, it brings you action, fun moments and lots of people to talk whit.
Its so easy start... you can chose how your character is going to look, then they take u to a very good beginner tutorial island, there they show you all the basics on the base skills and combat, its not like in most MMO's when youre running around first days asking people how to open equipment window or something.
There isn't any classes in this game like in MapleStory or Conquer online.
Instead there are lots of skills that u can train in, there are two types of skills Combat skills and normal skills.
You start at all skills on level 1 and the max level is 99.
The following combat skills are:
-Attack (Make you hit your enemies more often)
-Strength (Makes you stronger and hit harder)
-Defense (increase your defense)
-Summoning (whit this skill you can summon a creature that can aid you in combat)
-Range (whit this skill you may use bow and arrow, throwing knifes or anything else to attack your enemies in a long range.)
-Mage (The higher MContinue Reading
