Overwatch meets Streetfighter

By: Tony259 posted at Jul 06, 2017 3:42 pm

I've always been an avid fighting game fan, I play them fairly casually with most of my focus being on Street Fighter. I've took quite a break from Overwatch as of recently simply due to burnout, and even though I've known about Doomfist being the next potential hero to be released...I still never really had any hype about the character, this is partially due to Blizzard learning their lesson from over hyping a character (Sombra in this case), and also because I didn't think I would be bothered by another damage character to enter the game, but playing him in the PTR so far though has completely swayed my thoughts, all while giving the feeling of a fighter like hero entering the roster.

His Seismic Slam skill was an interesting one to figure out, there was two t

Overwatch Patch Is Here: Orisa Online, Ana Nerfs, Winston Buffs

By: Hàn Thiên Hải posted at Mar 21, 2017 11:41 pm

Blizzard Entertainment has been released Overwatch Patch featuring new hero Orisa and some balance changes. Patch is now live on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Built from the scraps of the city’s decommissioned OR15 defense bots, Orisa is still learning how to optimally perform her function. What she lacks in experience, she makes up for in her steadfast dedication to keeping her city—and her creator, Efi—safe from harm.

Orisa is the sixth tank to join the Overwatch lineup, and much like her programming, her gameplay is engineered around protection. Her main weapon is a rapid-fire Fusion Driver, an automatic gun with good range and accuracy even at a distance—though it comes at a cost. Orisa’s movement slows down while she fires and play

Overwatch 24th Hero Orisa Goes Live On March 21th

By: Hàn Thiên Hải posted at Mar 15, 2017 2:11 am

Blizzard Entertainment has announced Overwatch's 24th hero, Orisa, will be playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 21th, 2017. Created by 11-year-old engineer Efi Oladele, Orisa is youngest heroes in Overwatch.

Orisa serves as the central anchor of her team, and defends her teammates from the frontline with a protective barrier. She can attack from long range, fortify her own defenses, launch graviton charges to slow and move enemies, and deploy a Supercharger to boost the damage output of multiple allies at once.

Fusion Driver: Orisa’s automatic projectile cannon delivers sustained damage, but slows her movement while she fires it.

Fortify: Orisa temporarily reduces damage she takes, and cannot be affected by action-impairing effects.

Halt!: Orisa launches a graviton ch

Overwatch - Custom game browser and new modes!

By: Tony259 posted at Feb 16, 2017 6:48 pm

The best thing to come to Overwatch ever since its release is the introduction of the new game browser that will be within the Arcade section of the game, it's currently on the PTR for everyone on PC to play with and has had nothing but praise so far.

What's made games like TF2 survive up to today and still be an incredibly popular game is that is has a custom game browser as well, players are able to create a lobby of all different player sizes and game modes along with all the other insane custom modes that got introduced into the game much later.

I have experienced quite a variety of custom games so far and there's still many that I've not had the chance to play as I'm scrolling down the browser. While we're able to make our own lobbies and set what lev

Overwatch - Balancing for Pro's and Casuals, good or bad idea?

By: Tony259 posted at Feb 10, 2017 11:10 am

Overwatch has been around for a little over half a year now, it has gone through a number of balance patches and yet the game is in such a terrible state for balancing, it's quite shocking that a game can be this unbalanced when there's only 23 characters to take into consideration, while a game like Dota2 that has a little over 100 characters has much better overall balance.

What Blizzard have been doing with their game (which they also stated their self in 1 way or another) is that they're trying to keep the game balanced for both casual and pro players, the result so far is that about 60% of their roster is very under-used or not used at all. Lower tier players will consider characters such as Torbjorn, Symmetra and Bastion to be very strong characters, where as higher tier pl

Overwatch plans for 2017

By: RabbitFootTV posted at Dec 22, 2016 5:59 pm

Custom game browser, new heroes, maps and more coming in 2017.

Blizzard has released a developer update video with Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan talking about the new content coming to the game in 2017.

Kaplan has revealed that there are multiple heroes in the works with one of them being very promising. Also the team is working on custom game browser or in other words custom game mode. You will be able to set your lobby and invite your friends to your custom game or make the game public. The team already has a solid version of the mode and we will hopefully see it in game early in 2017.

The Oasis map will made it to the game in early 2017 like it was promised with developers already working on new maps. Kaplan also talks about the upcoming spectator mode and changes that will allow players to equip multiple sprays and emotes on their heroes.

Sombra is the second hero coming to Overwatch after its release. After many teasers and months of anticipation Sobmra was finally announced with an animated short trailer at Blizzcon. The new hero is classified as an Offense character with hacking and stealth abilities making her a powerful infiltrator.

Machine Pistol: Sombra's fully-automatic machine pistol fires in a short-range spread

Hack: Sombra hacks enemies to temporarily stop them from using their abilities, or hack first aid kits to make them useless to her opponents.

Thermoptic Camo: Sombra becomes invisible for a short period of time, during which her speed is boosted considerably. Attacking, using offensive abilities or taking damage disables her camouflage.

Overwatch - Junkensteins Revenge!

By: Tony259 posted at Oct 16, 2016 4:42 am

Junkensteins Revenge is a fairly fun PvE mode that came out for the Halloween event, the goal is to survive the night and stop the Zomnics from breaking through the gate. There's 4 achievements all with their own sprays for you to use, they require you win on Medium, Hard, win with all 4 characters, and to win on medium with no damage done to the door.

This will be a guide on how to complete it on hard mode without much difficulty if everyone plays it right, the enemies all spawn at set intervals so it ends up mostly becoming a memory game and using your ultimates as Ana and McCree at the correct moments, whereas Hanzo and Soldier can use them to speed up clearing Zomnics, especially when the Heros spawn which requires McCree's attention and Ana to be on the ball with keeping allies ali

Overwatch bans "ggez"

By: Tony259 posted at Aug 18, 2016 4:57 pm

Have you ever wondered why people feel the need to say "gg ez" at the end of a match regardless of what game you're playing? the general reason is that people simply enjoy getting a rise out of others after said person won against your team, even if it was a fairly close game you will still have some people that type "gg ez", I'd like to say more often than not you don't even need to have someone reply to know that you have possibly annoyed someone by typing something as simple as those 4 letters.

So here is what Blizzard has currently put into the PTR servers and it's something I honestly hope stays in, not because people typing "gg ez" bugs me (granted it's annoying, but I won't throw a fit at someone for typing it), but simply because it's actually hilarious that they put
