Diablo III - Patch 2.5.0 is Here!

Today, a new patch for Diablo III has arrived, and with it, an amount of QoL changes. Yep, the game play is pretty much the same, you're going to do the same exact stuff that you always did, over and over again. But this time, we have a couple of things to make it less annoying! Hooray!


THE ARMORY - BRINGING WOW TO DIABLO


Well, since they're bringing Diablo to WoW, I don't see why they can't do the opposite. Don't get me wrong, I actually love this system, and it encourages the player to try different builds without having to break their heads against a wall every time they want to do it.

The armory works like this: you have a wardrobe right next to your stash which lets you save up to five builds, which includes gear, skills, runes, and Kanai powers. You save your current status in one

Seasons Arrive on Console


If you’ve been waiting to experience a fresh start for your console characters, you’re in luck! For the first time, those who own the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be able to discover the fun of Seasons, including unique rewards and the Season Journey. We’ll have more details on the specific ins and outs of how Seasons work on console soon, so be sure to stay tuned!


New Cosmetic Rewards


As with past Seasons, Season 10 continues to introduce new cosmetic rewards, obtainable by progress through the Season Journey.

Diablo I recreated in Diablo III and new class Necromancer announced at Blizzcon

I know most of us were hoping the Diablo 4 rumors were true and unfortunately they weren't. Instead Blizzard announced “The Darkening of Tristram” patch hitting the Public Test Realm next week. In the new patch the developers recreated the original Diablo inside Diablo III with a 16 levels deep dungeon available to all existing characters and with all the original monsters, bosses and events. The recreated version of Diablo I will also feature special visual and audio filters along with a 8-directional movement.





The second big announcement for Diablo III was the 7th class coming to the game will be the Necromancer. Inspired by the Necromancer in Diablo II the new class will wield some familiar powers like Corpse Explosion, Blood Rush, Blood Siphon, Bone Spear, Army of the Dead and Blood Golem. The new class in coming in 2017 and it will not be free.

Diablo: Season 7 Leveling Guide

Season 7 is just around the corner and all players will need to start fresh. This guide includes tips for both solo and group leveling for freshly-created Seasonal characters. It doesn't have to do anything with powerleveling which will be possible once enough characters have reached Level 70.


Solo Leveling (1-70 with Massacre Bonus, takes anywhere from 2 - 3 hours depending on your class choice)

LEVELS 1 - 4

I. Create a game on Hard difficulty and adjust it to your gear and killing speed. While creating a new game, switch between Hard and Master difficulty.

II. Use Templar as your Follower.

III. Pick weapons of the other Followers (equip the best one and salvage the rest)

IV. Do a boss bounty. In solo on Hard difficulty, it's good to level up to 2 * 3 before you start the fight. Reco

The Cancer of D3 Consoles

The ongoing issue that continually thwarts console gameplay are cheaters with modded items. Blizzard has done zero effort to counter it.


Why aren't Seasons on Consoles?

If you ever wondered why Seasons aren't on consoles, the problem is on Blizzard's end. Basically there are vast differences underlying the PC/Mac version of the game in comparison with consoles. I'll try to explain what I mean


Saves

On PC/Mac versions, saved games are stored on Blizzard servers. On consoles they are stored directly on the console so they can be easily modified to allow exploiting.


Gameplay

On PC/Mac platforms, there is no offline single-player meaning you need an active internet connection regardless of whether you play alone or in a group, because map / mob generation is server-side whereas on console

Diablo: What to Expect from Season 7?

With the imminent release of Patch 2.4.2 and Season 7, we'll have a closer look at what to expect from it. There are quite substantial changes in regards to gameplay and balance this patch. The main aim is to make the game harder by nerfing survivability. New cosmetics, Haedrig's Gift sets, pets and more is waiting in the Sanctuary!


Cosmetic Rewards

When it comes to cosmetics its every Season about three things; the rotating Conqueror's transmog set, a new portrait and its various recolors and for those who complete Chapter IV in Seasonal Journey there's the usual pet award! For rewards, refer to the screenshot below.

Will Gamescom Revive Diablo 3?

An announcement should be made soon about Diablo III. We could expect some new information already at Gamescom (Cologne, August 18 - 21, 2016). It's not set in stone yet whether it will be a major patch or even a new expansion, but Blizzard has officially invited streamer Quin to make a public appearance. He mentioned in on his stream that he wouldn't be going there, but Blizzard gave him such conditions that he couldn't say no, so it's probably about paid transportation, hotel and even an appearance fee.


Gamescom is the place where Blizzard unveiled Reaper of Souls as well as WoW Legion last year.


The issue with Diablo III

Diablo III has gone through some neat changes and it can't be even compared to its former vanilla state, but the problem is players are growing tired of it.

Diablo: Patch 2.4.2 Difficulty Changes

Diablo's Patch 2.4.2 brings new Torment difficulties that are increased up to Torment XIII, so that's a total of three new difficulties. With gearing and time passing by, clearing highest Torment difficulties feels like an easy mode that's why Blizzard introduced new difficulties scaling up to Torment X (up from Torment VI) the last time we had an update. Currently, the devs are bringing in three torment levels and here's how Legendary Drops, Stats, Drop Rates, XP Gains and virtually everything will increase in the new difficulties.

Torment XIII the highest difficulty to be added to the game is equivalent to a Greater Rift Level 60. Please note that most of the data has been taken from various sources mainly PTR testing and Legendary drop rates

Diablo 3: End-Game Meta Changes

Wyatt Cheng wrote an extensive blue post, explaining meta changes that are in the works for Diablo from a dev viewpoint. He gives insight about the game's current problems regarding various types of gameplay, engaging and so forth while offering solutions. For example healing will be drastically reduced in the future, stationary combat will not be as preferred as it is to date, since moving is more fun and another problem is that you simply stack up mobs to earn kills, no reason to carefully consider how you will defeat your foes, these things are about to change and as an example group buffs will see drastic changes and many players will be surprised.
