Diablo 3 will come to PlayStation 4 from Blizzard Entertainment, Blizzard's Chris Metzen announced today.

The announcement is part of a "strategic partnership" between Blizzard and Sony Computer Entertainment, Metzen said. He also announced that Diablo 3 will come to the PlayStation 3 as well.

Metzen says Diablo 3 has been customized to play on consoles, with a four-player, full-screen co-op mode.

The hack-and-slash action RPG's user interface, customization, inventory and control over player avatars has been revamped for PS4.

Diablo 3 for PlayStation consoles will have a "formal debut" at PAX in March, Metzen said

Now I know some of your jaws dropped at this news,

but what do you guys think of this sudden announcement?

Diablo 3 Review

By: Zanpakutou posted at Jan 10, 2013 2:44 pm

So I have finally gotten around to playing Diablo 3. I know it came out a while ago, but I like the dungeon crawler genre of MMOs.

EDIT: I've made some changes to the review since I finished Inferno with my friend. Now I'm working on obtaining better gear so I can do the stuff that requires Monster Power on Inferno.

Story:

So 20 years ago, Diablo 2 happened. Some guy falls from the sky and you have to help him find his sword so you and your friends can work together to defeat the remaining evils. Throughout the game, you work to defeat the remaining evils of Belial, Lord of Lies and Azmodan, Lord of Sins. However, things are not as easy as it seems because in the world of Diablo, everyone is an asshole with their own agenda.

Graphics:

For a game that came out in 2012, the graphics are not impressive. There are many games with far better graphics. However, it tries to retain some of the old visual styling of Diablo with a higher end graphics. The result is what we see in Di

Diablo 3 - 1.0.4 Coup de Grâce or a Silver lining?

With patch 1.0.4 of Diablo 3 coming soon to improve Legendary items for players what does this mean for the game itself?

Before dropping any hate or praise about the game let's have a look first before we speak.

We should first have a small look at the PvP state of Diablo 3 before talking about patch 1.0.4 and its suspected effects of Diablo 3. Let's talk about patch 1.1.x of Diablo 3 briefly.

Patch 1.1.0+

For those who have been following the trend(or not) happening at Blizzard with development updates, Patch 1.1.x where x being any number is when Diablo 3 will acquire PvP systems.

Yes that's right, PvP. Any version past 1.1.0 (Edit: I even read a rumor somewhere where this may be paid DLC, you must be joking... JUST A RUMOR THOUGH, I'm sure it's not true. I really am.)

If they are going in patches from succession of 1.0.4-5-6-7-8-9-10 with 10 carrying over to 1.1 then yes we will have PvP by about maybe Christmas of 2012 or even 2013. Unless these are versioning numbers

I'm not supprised actually I've known they've been hacked since day 1. after 3 or 2 week of release I've been hacked on a brand new computer i've made just to play new coming games. I've only paid bills played games. No Naughty stuff honest!!! After I've been hacked i went around forum and youtube. Turns out tons of people where being hacked out of the blue. Even worst then me after 1 week there was a hacking spree. Ton's of complaint on forums, tons of youtube video's.

It came to my attention I knew blizzard been hacked and they won't admit it until today. I called there office demanding a roll back they offered me  1 more roll back along with a purchase of an authenticator. I personally believed that blizzard hacked us on purpose just to upsale there authenticator. I mean what the flying fudge what company hold record of you charactors making it possible for them to do a rollback.

A company that has this on stand by seem very fishy. Able to roll back a person accoun

Diablo 3 - After 3 months; Good Hook, Rough life.

Diablo 3, you had a good hook and a bad end.

The game is still ongoing and I have no idea how long the people who reviewed it played it for. But I'll give you that I've played it for at least 127 hours as a Wizard, 89 as a demon hunter, and a couple on barbarian and witch doctor and a few on a hardcore monk.

(Edited line in August 12, 2012): All of this and below before patch 1.0.4.

**WARNING; Spoilers may be present below if you have never played Diablo 3. you have been warned! ***

Why does this game get so much attention everywhere?

It's due to the fact that the game has been a franchise that was widely recognised as a big success in its earlier editions; Diablo I, Diablo II mostly the latter gained the fame for the series. The other thing is it's developed by Blizzard. What people don't know is that it's not developed by Blizzard North which is where most of their key employees that were involved with Diablo I and II left and founded the(Amended,&n

Diablo 3's Economy - Success or Failure?

By: Darth Meraj posted at Aug 02, 2012 6:34 pm

Diablo 3's economy is extremely important to it's overall survival and general population. Item drop rates are set specifically to work in conjunction with the Auction House. Not only is the Auction House important to every player's overall progression through the game, but it is also a main contributing factor to Diablo 3's identity as a MMO. Without the Auction House, the game would simply be a single player game with the option to have up to 4 player co-op.

There are many different aspects which impact the economy in Diablo 3. Most of these factors are negative in their interaction with the general population, which are currently causing major issues in item price as well as unrest in the player base. One such factor that is currently degrading the integrity of Diablo 3's economy is gold. On it's own, gold earned through normal means isn't negatively impacting the economy. The problem with gold lies in the combination of bug abusers and botters, who inflate the amount of go

Diablo 3's Lore Really Hits the Spot!

Check out Diablo 3's Official Site

I've been a fan of the Diablo series since I first came across Diablo 1 back in 2000. A friend of mine was playing it on his PC and it instantly drew me in. Since then, I've played through the Diablo franchise regularly for 12 years now. Most of my time was spent on Diablo 2 of course.

Despite being a huge Diablo fan, I had my doubts about acquiring the new Diablo 3. I'd heard so much negative feedback about the game that I was unsure it would live up to my expectations. I knew I was going to purchase it at some point, but I waited until the initial launch issues were cleared up. There are still some issues that really need addressed by Blizzard, but I feel I purchased the game at a good time in it's development. Patch 1.0.3.

Blizzard filed an interim injunction against Demonbuddy

By: Mimiron posted at Jun 27, 2012 2:47 am

What is Demonbuddy?

Demonbuddy is a powerful utility used to automatize the Diablo III gameplay. We can say, it's a newcomer with a powerful anti-warden detection system.

There have been no bans associated with Demonbuddy as of yet. Many people mistaken it for Hellbuddy, which has seen banwaves, but instead of the devs accepting its their faulty anti-detection, they blame the users.

Why did Blizzard file an interim injunction?

Most likely, because there are too many bot-flagged accounts and when they'd ban them, they would lose a high percentage of their base.

Activision Blizzard even warned players, to stop cheating on the official forums.

That are two possibilities. Either it should scare all the botters away, or really a vast number of Diablo

accounts has been flagged for automatization.

What is an interim injunction?

Here is a brief explanation: interim means temporary and injunction means an order to prevent someone from doing something. In this case, Blizzard's Warden is not smart eno

Blizzard may be facing multiple lawsuits in the near future

Ever since the release of Diablo III, Blizzard has been under attack by their once dedicated fans. A lot of players were not satisfied with the game, saying that it was a watered down version of Diablo II. I really don't think that's the case, but rather the effect of nostalgia on those gamers.

So far I've spent over a hundred hours playing the game and I can say that I've received the full value of the product. But some were so dissatisfied that refunds were demanded. So that 7.something million copies sold will be knocked back a tiny bit. I don't feel it's fair to play a game and return it just because you don't like it; that's like demanding your money back at the cinema just because you didn't like the movie.

That's not to say that Blizzard is the victim here. I've notice
