So after a couple days after the open beta release of Arctic Combat, I have been playing it for days now. Thanks to MMOSITE, I have finally stepped up and played this game. The game is still new on the market but if I was to compare this game to any game on the market, the game that comes close would be Alliance Valiant Arms (AVA). Although AVA was released a few years back, Arctic Combat is one of the newest and best potential game that I have played this year. In terms of a real MMOFPS, I would say this game best represents what I truly want to see in a shooter. I know there may be a lot of players looking for a Call of Duty kind of game and this game might be best suited because of its action pack, quick oriented gameplay. With a tournament and a couple monContinue Reading

Webzen is taking another crack at the shooting genre with their new game, Artic Combat. Artic Combat is a shooter set in a future where the U.S.A and Russia are fighting against each other over resources, in what is shaping to be World War III.
Since the game is set in the U.S.A vs. Russian setting, there are two different looks for your character when you get him; in fact you can buy characters for each faction with their own unique look. The bad thing however is, you can’t customize the looking individually, each normal item you buy either share the same look, or alters it slightly. So if you equip a beret on your AF soldier, your RSA counterpart will have the similar look. It would have been nice to have a bit more flexibility in that department to at least give the player the aContinue Reading
I have been playing and watching review videos lately on arctic combat, and I have seen a lot of players hip firing at certain situations where they could have aim down the sights. If players have played Call of Duty in the past, most players would already know when to have hip fire or to have aim down the sights. Currently in this beta, hip firing is a lot more accurate like in MMO games where they don't offer iron sight abilities such as Combat Arms, AVA, and Cross Fire. Although the odd time, there will be a gun that have an iron sight ability but players do not focus to much on it due to the already low recoil on the hip firing.
In Arctic Combat, players should already implement the skill to aim down the sights inorder to gain much morContinue Reading

So playing Arctic Combat for a couple of days after its release on Closed Beta, there seems to be a lot of unanswered questions floating around.
Q:Is there going to be a closed beta wipe?
A: Often you will find in games that during the closed beta season, they will wipe a players account clean. Arctic Combat is no different, there will be a wipe issued meaning all of the kills, deaths and purchases will be reset. Leaving your character empty as it did when you made the account. So in general yes.
Q: Any new content coming out for the open beta season?
A: From the looks of it, Webzen is taking a lot of measures to make the game better. Many players are complaining and hopefully they can fix the issue.
Q: Where can I report Hackers?
A: While playing Arctic Combat, I have not encounter a haContinue Reading
