Now I know you guys didn't see this one coming. Me playing a Moba wtf Scion is that you? Yes it is me and I had fun while going on a killing spree. Didn't help much that my team I was on had no killers. And the only killer (ME) didn't know wtf he was doing. All in all I liked this game better way better than LoL. People may get mad at it but a game that is 3d and more controlled is more fun to me. 

It also shows more skill I don't think mashing a mouse clicker to move back in forth shows skill. If anything it shows how old and lazy you are as a developer to still be using that method. As I said this game allows you free movement to lay traps and show cunning. The character design is rather interesting although some gods just seem boring. While others make you say wow got to use him in a fight.

Sound was pretty standard in my opinion could use a bit more BOOM. Game play made me laugh how you can know nothing but still is a killer. I just use what I know from gaming to basica

Hi This is my first review of the Game Smite Online. Smite Online is a MOBA 3rd person player game, a bit like league of legends but you literal control your champion i mean god from a 3rd person point of view.The concept is the same as league, you kill minon and slay the enemy team to earn gold and with that gold you purchase items back in spawn. The item are unqiuely made so you can build your charactor any way you want to. This game gives you freedom to build which ever way you like, if it's from dealing tons of damage or taking it.

There arn't that many charactors to select from but as time progress I'm sure that they will create tons of new charactors to play. As for now this game is worth a try, if your a league of legends player and always wanted to see how it felt to be in the eyes of your champion this is a great way. You'll be able to witness first hand how it feel for your champion to be on the battlegrounds literally.

So I've finally gotten around to playing enough games to write a review for this. I write the title of the game in all caps because that is how they do it. SMITE is another game that is trying to make its way into the MOBA genre with a few twists. Compared to the other games, SMITE is a lot more friendly to newer players. I will just call the various gods characters instead of gods or champions because not all of them are gods yet they do not use the term champion to describe them. 

Story:

N/A - A bunch of gods are out fighting each other just for the heck of it. There is no need to understand why.

Graphics:

As one of the newer MOBA games, SMITE actually has some fairly decent graphics. I feel that the character and creep models could have been done a bit better since the jungle minions look quite nice and so do a few of the characters. However, it feels like they did not put in the effort for some of the character models compared to others making it look far

I will admit this up front, I am essentially an atheist. One that has no problem ranting and raving about western religions. I normally mock Christianity and Islam for this, but the idea of whole societies holding the same rare taboo is less unique to the west than you may think. Everybody has heard the Christians rant and rave about well, everything. Everybody has heard about Islam getting somewhat miffed about Muhammad being depicted. But really, as a foundation every society has that one thing that thou shalt not do. For the religious, its either sinning or depicting gods in media.



For those not in the know, SMITE is the upcoming MOBA Tower Defense game depicting gods doing combat in third person. This concept if of course nothing new. One could argue Brutal Legend and Sacrifice did it already (But it has levels, so it's obviously like a million billion times better). Circling around MMOSite are quite a few posts regarding the new game, SMITE, which features artistic takes (some are outright eye-candy) on various Gods and Goddess of different religions. One of the more popular characters is a rendition of the Hindu Goddess, Kali. The attractive but dangerous beauty of the game has been some heavy fire and backlash for how she is represented in the game.

While I highly doubt that it was meant to be offensive, I can see why someone might take offense to the representation. While she isn't the first deity to ever been changed from traditional to modern (and won't be the last), do you think that it's a matter of being disrespectful or a matter of being creative?
