With the current state of ghost recon online, I have felt that it is something that needs to be said about the game. I have played the game since the 3rd closed beta and have played it since. I earned the gold p250 and experience the offers the community had. I have played with a wide range of players and even had the opportunity to play with some of the best players in the game. I enjoyed the game very much through the tough times but the direction it is heading now is something I do not agree about. With the updates and decisions alone it has been nothing but pure headache. I will still refer the game as ghost recon online so bear with me in this one.

Well Ghost Recon Online is a new cover base MMO shooter (TPS/FPS) that appeared in the late 2012. It is a futuristic shooter which utilizes team work, armor, guns, special abilities and especially skills to win. It is one of the first mmo to actually have a cover base function, where you can hide behind a wall and use it as cover. From guns to armor, there is a wide array of things to do and stuff to buy. If you enjoy a somewhat new competitive shooter with a bit of RPG elements then I suggests Ghost Recon could be in your interest.

I have been really stressing this one out when I play during online Free-To-Play shooters. This is more aimed towards games that have a time limit after every death like 10 seconds or more on the clock. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing a team of players on your team sprinting towards a zone just so that they could all die by an ambush, or be killed by incoming fire. More players waiting for the clock to hit 0:00 to respawn the higher chance the enemy will have a tactical advantage of setting up, and putting out lone lingering teammates. There is strength in numbers, but if everyone is dead there will be no resistance whatsoever.

I'll Start by saying I LOVE the look of this game. It's very fluid and brings alot of fun cover and gunplay tactics to the table. The sound gives you a good sense of environment. And the controls don't make you want to kill yourself. I will continue to bring coverage of this game because I feel it's worth the attention. So my recommendation and you don't see me say this alot. Over the course of the Closed Beta, and Open Beta season I have seen players quit Ghost Recon Online because they claim it was too difficult. With the cover system being the main feature of the game, along with special abilities for the three different class it is no wonder why players claim that it is too difficult. Difficult in a sense that this game takes a bit more strategy, skill and especially patience compared to the generic run and gun shooters. In Call of Duty, players run and gun all the time with no sense of hesitation, but being ghost recon is a bit different, running and gunning will get you killed (unless your a recon that has cloak). Fighting alone can easily be entertaining as there is victory for yourself, no one to worry about, and best of all no rules to follow. Being a lone wolf ingames where you are fighting for yourself in victory never felt so satisfying. Everything was made for you, and there is only your rules in game. But how about we change all that? Instead of fighting for yourself, you can fight with teammates that share a common goal. The big worry should only be about getting the victory, while your team saves you the worry about your own back. Are there rules to follow? I have went on the forums to see that some players are saying that this patch has become a bust. As read, many of them do agree that the map was the highlight but everything else was not favourable. Some said that the weapons that they chose were not wanted to be re-skinned and chose the less common weapons used. Many were disapointed with the re-skin of lower level armors and many players I believed wanted to change the skin of his/her gun rather than wanting to buy a whole new one. This would have been great but the weapons seem to be the biggest disappointment to the players in the community and this patch so far.

- Critical rate rebalance - Increased the gain rate of critical % as a weapon stabilizes, while making it much harder to crit in run and gun. (Crit rate is affected by proportion of bullet min to max spread. This rebalance weighs crit distribution heavily in favor of the min spread, so carefully aimed weapons take full advantage of crit potential.)
- Handgun rebalance - Fixed an issue where handgun bullet spread was significantly worse than SMG’s: Improved handgun accuracy to slightly below SMG by reducing reticule return rate, with a slightly increased recoil to compensate.
Weapons that were found to be overpowered relative to other variants within their weapon type (ROF/DPS reduction):
- P90: ROF from 900 to 800
- MP7: ROF from 950 to 850

I have been playing ghost recon lately and I have finally played a perfect game. With Ghost Recon's gameplay of having skills, abilities, a cover and level up system I have finally manage to play one match consisting of two rounds (15min long) without having any deaths. There has been many games where I have played and only had one to five deaths, so exclusively for MMOSITE I have tried very hard to get a high kill streak and a no death game.
With great tactics and smart gameplay I have rushed into enemy lines to score multiple kills. I did not camp in one spot waiting for enemies, but rather I moved into areas where I can bring the action. This is important to have a rewarding game because you would feel great breaking enemy lines rather than just picking off random players.Continue Reading
