By: Scion Storm posted at Aug 22, 2017 4:12 pm - 0
If you want to join in the fun go here http://arks-layer.com/index.php
I have played far and wide most know that. I have to say in all the past five years I have had more fun playing this game. Then other games out there. I'll leave Guild Wars 2 and FF14 out of that. This is basically my restart making a new character. I played until level 40 last time. This time around I want to take this all the way until the end.

NieR: Automata X Phantasy Star Online 2 Collab Revealed
By: Cryyfuu posted at Feb 23, 2017 7:06 pm - 0
Phantasy Star Online 2 is still going strong after all these years. Constant updates and collaborations, this time, PSO2 collabs with NieR: Automata. New costumes, hairstyles, weapon skins and more will be available through AC scratches some time in March.
Along with the NieR collab reveal, they also showed us other updates coming to PSO2, including a new boss.
Here are some pictures of the NieR items and upcoming boss.
Ever since hearing about the collab, I've been pretty excited. In the video below is my live reaction to the new content discussed in this article.

Phantasy Star Online 2 - Still worth playing?
By: Cryyfuu posted at Feb 15, 2017 9:37 am - 0
Phantasy Star Online 2 is an instance-based action MMORPG.
The game released quite a few years ago in JP and was said to be coming to the west but... years later and where is it?
At this point, I highly doubt the game will ever come to the West. However, the JP version of the game has a very large English-speaking community and English patch that translates all the important stuff, including the story.
Unlike most foreign MMORPGs, PSO2 is very easy to get into. No VPN required as the Tweaker (which can be downloaded here http://arks-layer.com/index.php ) has a VPN built into it.
So a year or two has passed since I last played PSO2 and about a week ago I decided to give it a try again. I'm very happy I did!
Does PSO2 still hold up in 2017 and is it the game for you? Find out in this impressions/review video I made.

Nanbo's Phantasy Star 2 Online Review Levels 20 - 25
By: Nanbo posted at Apr 14, 2014 2:48 am - 1
In my last article I wrote about how the game through level 20 took a "dragon slayer" turn as I grew out of killing little mobs, mini bosses, and bosses and moved on to full on dragon encounters! This was very welcome

Nanbo's Phantasy Star Online 2 Review Levels 10 - 20
By: Nanbo posted at Mar 25, 2014 5:03 am - 1
Hi all my digital readers! Last time we checked into Phantasy Star Online 2 I was doing the evolving review as of levels 1-10. Now, I have reached 20 and have more to share! I gave this game a 4.5/5 points based on levels 1-10. It was fun, well customized, and great user interface. Now that I pushed into the next 10 levels, will this score lower, raise, or stay the same? Read on!
I mentioned in my last review, that I was distracted by so many featured content, side quests, and over all immersion of the game that I did not level up as fast as I could have. And that is a good thing. Letting the game sink in is natural. It just pricks enough curiosity and ease to get involved in it's features that I actually forget what level I am! Nor do I really care what level other people are. I enjoy tha

Phantasy Star 2: English Patch Playable Review
By: Scion Storm posted at Mar 11, 2014 2:36 pm - 1
How to Play
I wanted to go back and touch on this game. This game is almost completely english translated and playable. It's sad Sega is dragging it's feet on bringing it over. But as you will see it may not even matter. You can use the guide by Nanbo to get into the game. It's really easy only hard part in the screen check. But a virtual keyboard makes that easy.
Phantasy Star 2 is one of those games that is unique. The sights the sounds how you do things. Even finishing quests all make you say yea. "I'm in an PSO game" At any rate enjoy it and see you in game. One last thing this is another effort to provide variety. You see a lot of people say nothing good to play exists. Well sometimes you just have to broaden your horizons.

Nanbo's Phantasy Star Online 2 Review Levels 5-10
By: Nanbo posted at Mar 03, 2014 1:18 am - 1
Hello all the mmositers! Welcome to the second part of my Phantasy Star Online 2 evolving review. My evolving reviews give a score that changes based on each level tier. Last tame, I gave the level 1-5 experience a 4/5. Will this raise, remain the same, or lower? Read on to find out!
I will start off saying I should have done tiers in 10, so levels 1-10 first. However, I was impatient to show you all screen shots and game experience! That said, after this review, my next one will be on levels 11-20, and not 11-15 (I am already 14).
Gameplay:
To be honest, not allot has changed as far as the environment so far. Things in the environment have changed (random map has created some cool things we will talk about soon), but overall I have not pushed out to test my characters limits by unlockin

Hi all! Your favorite MMORPG reviewer here! Balanced, fact filled, and not afraid to test new territory! Today, I have a an article I am excited to share with you! This title comes from SEGA Japan and is doing fairly well over seas! Phantasy Star Online 2!
I recently put a installation guide up for you non Japanese speakers. You can find it by clicking on my BLOG button to the left.
This title won the webmoney award of 2013, Play Station Awards 2013, G somethin in Japanese awards in 2013 and two other Japan gaming site awards in 2012! Sadly, those are some sad years for us in the west and EU as we had some pretty weak titles launch and or go F2P. Just recently we have tasted some Korean flavoed games such as TERA, Blade and Soul, Black Gold, etc.. Japan has a few titles that s
