Well Digimon Master's Online is having it's open beta test begin on the 27th, just a few days from now.  I have been a fan of Digimon since the first TV series came out in america, when I was around 6, so I am really looking forward to this game.  From what I have seen in the past, the Digimon iteration have been pretty good, although for the most part they were quite repetitive; this game looks to be a standard pet based MMO, but the license could easily be enough to sell it for me.  With this game promising over 1000 characters from the shows, which I take to mean Digimon and some of the tamers, I can atleast say that they have a lot of content, I only hope that they alter the game later on to allow for customization of the Digimon and your Tamer, or else being in the world with a bunch of identical people could kind of ruin the immersion factor.  My other main concern is that there will be 4 or 5 super powerful Digimon with the rest being crap, which woul

For those of you who wanted to try out Digimon Masters, I have some good news for you. Joymax , the publishers of the game, have announced that open beta is coming soon. How soon? Well it will be held from September 27th to October 11th. Even better news is that if you get in during that period you don’t need to worry about losing your character, they aren’t planning on doing any character resets during this testing period.

 As much as they would like to call it a CBT, the game was more or less an OBT. Do you have a joymax account? Accept their terms of agreement and you were in the beta. If there is a significant update that makes it worth re-evaluating the game, then I will do it. Digimon Masters Online is a slightly newer Digimon MMORPG. It plays more like a traditional one rather than like the turn based Digimon Battle Online. Digimon Masters is based on the Digimon Data Squad anime, but it promises to have some of the features from the other seasons such as the alternate forms of evolution rather than just the standard Digisoul one.

Digimon Masters Online is an upcoming free-to-play MMORPG based on the Digimon Universe. Joymax is currently holding a Pre-CBT “warm up” which gave me the chance to take a look at the English localization of this fascinating MMO. Fans of the Digimon Data Squad television series can rejoice as the game brings this particular series to life in stunning cartoon rendering.

 

So far players can pick from three of the characters from the Data Squad series, those being Marcus, Yoshino or Thomas. Every Tamer needs a Digimon to aid them so players may also choose from Agumon, Lalamon or Gaomon as starter Digimon.
