5 Best League Starter Builds for 3.1 War For The Atlas & Abyss League

By: ig4c posted at Dec 19, 2017 10:16 pm
Path of Exile is an outstanding RPG game with great character customization and competitive PvP. Recently, on 8th December 2017 Path of Exile launched its seventh major expansion called the War for the Atlas. Alongside the War of Atlas, Abyss league was also introduced. The Elder- a new main antagonist was introduced in Path of Exile. War for Atlas also introduced 32 new maps with completely different themes and bosses. With all the new upgrades, you need to have a good league starter build. A good league starter must be budget friendly, easy to level and must be able to take on most of the content that the game has to offer. Following are the five best league starter builds for 3.1 War for Atlas and Abyss League:

1. Bleed Slayer

It is a beginner friendly bleed build. It is very rare to find a functional, powerful, bleed-based build these days. The build is also easy to level which ensures you get a smooth start in the league. If you prefer that feeling of being intimidated or daunted, tContinue Reading

Why Path of Exile's Latest Hardcore League is Worth Playing

By: InMyOpinionGaming posted at Aug 28, 2017 3:20 am

Path of Exile is a free to play Action RPG much in the vein of Diablo 2. PoE has a very RPG-heavy character customization that makes personal player builds both possible and viable even until end-game if you know what you are doing.

Path of Exile's newest new set of Leagues (that last until Mid November) are deemed the "Harbinger" Leagues with both Softcore and Hardcore varients. I prefer Hardcore where If I die that's it, gotta make a new character and a new, more viable build. To me it's all about the rush of adrenaline that comes from a close class and surviving tough fights.

Whether you're in softcore or hardcore you can save your loot, items and gear from your travels and use them towards future characters on the same account which is really nice!

Let me know what you think of Path of Exile, have you played it since the newest update (The Fall of Oriath?"

Path Of Exile Passive Tree and Item Filter Information

By: Adjacenth posted at Aug 15, 2017 1:47 am

As you probably know there was a pretty big patch for Path Of Exile recently and the folks at Grinding Gear Games have made a lot of changes, some small and some pretty big to the game. Today we want to talk about some of the more interesting things that have been revealed about changes to the Passive Tree and the item filter.

Passive Tree

The main change is to do with Damage Over Time. For example, some pretty big changes were made and as a result, passive skills that were focused on bleeding, poison, burning have been tweaked. Interestingly bleeding damage and poison damage have had new clusters added.

Some passive skills that gave you a chance to cause bleeding when doing a melee attack now offer the same chance, but to all kinds of attacks, not just melee.
Two new keystones have been addedContinue Reading

My First Experience on Path of Exile The Fall of Oriath

By: ig4c posted at Aug 10, 2017 8:40 pm
The Fall of Oriath, or Path of Exile 3.0, was out on August 4. As developer Grinding Gear Games(GGG) said before that the expansion would double the size of the previous version, Fall of Oriath is the biggest expansion to the game since it's launch. There are many improvements and changes in the latest version which bring wonderful experience to players.  Oriath includes six new acts, a new progression to the story and tons of skills and the new "Pantheon" system. These are probably the great changes for many players like me.

I guess there are still many gamers who haven't played The Fall of Oriath or who have palyed but don't know it well. Don't worry, i am here to give your some useful information to help you get adjusted to life in Wraeclast.

The acts are split into two different parts - Part I and II. Along with the changes to the acts and storyline progressio, there are a couple of gameplay changes that are rocking the world of PoE. They include the following:

Path of exile: Should you play it?

By: Scion Storm posted at Jan 11, 2017 3:06 pm

POE is most likely the best free2play on the market. With crazy in depth builds, you can easily make characters to fit any liking. Character creation is a bit lacking. I can forgive the game because it has everything else that can make it a fun game. The cash shop is not in anyone pay2win. So you won't have to deal with insane burst craziness in pvp. In all it's the most balance free to play game out right now.

Path of Exile: You're Doing It Right

By: Scion Storm posted at Sep 05, 2016 2:27 pm

Path of Exile will kick off this new series idea I have. Where we basically discuss cash shops done right. This is a classic example of it being done right. We don't give games credit for doing things correctly. And only bash on games when they don't do things right. I would like to change that trend, if even all by my self one video at a time.

POE: Seller Recipes You ought to Be Applying

By: poecurrencyseller posted at Sep 02, 2015 11:58 pm
You will discover pretty a number of seller recipes in Path of Exile and many tend to be more practical than other people. Most are in fact not worthy of using persistently but you will discover a handful of which might be very easy to use and create far more useful forex. I’m not a huge supporter of having 10 or maybe more stash tabs dedicated to useless rare items that i may one of nowadays switch into an Alchemy Orb, but some recipes are only much too good to move. Beneath is usually a simple list of seller recipes you should be applying to raise your prosperity.

Most of players ask us how to farm POE Orbs faster. our professional players would glad to share the guide with you on poe-currency.com.

one. Chromatic Orbs

It is maybe the easiest of recipes: you just seller an merchandise (of any rarity) with three connected gem sockets of various hues (RGB) and you’ll have a Chromatic Orb. Even though it’s definitely not the fastest approach to riches in PoE you are going to consistently Continue Reading

Unique and Divination Card Drop Rate Changes in 2.0.3

An important part of our development process is the review we do after the release of an expansion. Taking community feedback into account, the success of various features and improvements is discussed. This often results in relatively large changes being made (or undone!)

In 2.0.3, some changes to drop rates have been made:

Four unique items have been made more common based on their role as twinking items. These items are Storm Cloud, Wake of Destruction, Brightbeak and Goldrim. The latter two have had the rarity changes made in The Awakening reverted. While these are powerful twinking items, we feel it's a lot more fun when people have easier access to them.

Many Divination Cards have been made more common. While they're still not a triContinue Reading
