World Of Tanks - 9.15 Patch Notes

By: DanielCsaki posted at May 26, 2016 12:40 am

World of Tanks patch 9.15 is live!  As it was said before, the changes are mainly aesthetic, but they surely help in the overall experience.

Some of the major changes went towards the tanks. First of all, the vehicles were re-balanced and the stats were redesigned. Now, stats nicely show firepower, survivability and mobility and much more.

Next on the list are Platoons. WoT is giving us few new reasons  to join them and play by their rules. Now, we will be granted with the experience bonuses if we choose the same tier vehicles, BUT if we pick vehicles that are three tiers apart we'll get experience penalties.

And the last major design change goes towards the UI. From now on, the garage will have the option to filter our vehicles by class, tier, nation and those with a dai

Slow-mo Call of Duty - World of Tanks review by April Reyes

By: April Reyes posted at Jul 24, 2014 1:38 pm

Greetings fellow gamers.

It's April here, player, programmer and crew commander. Today we're going to look at the game that won many awards and is generally praised by the public:

But before we dive right in, let me just show you a few things you might find interesting:

"Stupid Role-playing games are shit!"

Says the game that you have (role-)play as some tank commander and his/her team.

"Grinding Space-games are lame!"

Says the game where you have to do nothing but grind mindlessly for the next tank.

"Racing is for the weak!"

Says the game that... okay, you got me, there is no hint of racing in this thing.

"Fun, free and full of highly dangerous machinery." ~IGN

"World of Tanks is a slick-looking game with a ridiculous amount of great content to back up its accessible tank-on-t

Nanbo's World of Tanks Review

By: Nanbo posted at Apr 08, 2014 2:20 am

Hello all my mmosite readers, visitors, and all other creatures! I recently got back into World of Tanks to check out the post 8.0 changes. One of the major motivations to coming back was the news of the new physics model to be introduced in the future! We will be able to destory more objects and act more...tanky! Also, I noticed that patch 8.11 had some major tweaks and a lot of people seem to be happy with the current state of the game. And lastly, as I was wondering around gaming videos I noticed live stream WoT events and the whole "e-sport" vibe it has gotten itself into. So, what is coming back like? Read on!

Warning the start of the article is me venting my 8.0 rage, and the later half is more about current state of the game. Read on without skipping before commenting to avoid takiContinue Reading

How Does World Of Tanks Compare To Other FPS Games

By: Ammunition posted at Jun 09, 2013 8:06 pm

World Of Tanks is a unique shooter that differentiates itself from other FPS games. Rather than the fast moving versatile infantry that we are all so use to playing, World of Tanks based its realism from a tanks standpoint. You may have seen or used a tank before in famous games such as the Battlefield series and in Mission Against Terror. But World of Tanks stands out separate as its gameplay, function and mechanics are much more complicated and realistic than a majority of MMOs. Wargaming strives for realism and WoT reflects every part of that. Instead of aiming through a guns iron sight, you are in a tanks view unleashing deadly shells upon enemies.

How Reliable Is Your Shots?

If you have played a majority of MMO shooters out there,

Why You Should Check Out World Of Tanks

By: Ammunition posted at Jun 06, 2013 6:43 pm

World of Tanks has been advertising its name through magazines, website ads and even in commercials. This leads me to believe World of Tanks might have something that most common tactical shooters are missing. But instead of it being a tactical shooter where you run as a soldier into the battlefield, you play as a tank that destroys other tanks around the world in historical landmarks. It is something different and new to the MMO shooters and an interesting one at that. With 10 awards that can be viewed on the main page especially best of E3 and a Guinness award, you have nothing to lose other than around 5 gigs of storage space.

Tanks have been featured in many other games before. Much like in the Battlefield series, the deadly ca
