Elsword Announces New “Way of the Sword” System
By: ExcEsc posted at Nov 21, 2012 4:34 pm - 0
Today Kill3rCombo introduced a brand new gameplay system for the free-to-play manga inspired action MMORPG Elsword. As the primary feature of this update, the titular character Elsword unlocks his true mastery with an innovative system that will bring dramatic new strategies to both co-op and competitive play.
With Elsword’s new “Way of the Sword” system, all of Elsword’s attacks, including special moves, are now classified as “destruction” or “vitality” attacks. By only using attacks in one category, Elsword can build up the meter to activate the Destruction or Vitality modes. Destruction mode increases Elsword’s damaging force and gives him the ability to enter a super armored state. The Vitality mode makes Elsword a more energetic fighter, boosting his movement and attack speeds and redContinue Reading

Elsword's Chung Evolves
By: ExcEsc posted at Aug 01, 2012 9:11 am - 0
Players of the free-to-play manga-inspired massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Elsword, now have two new ways to drive back the invaders of Elrios. Elsword's newest character, Chung, best known for wielding a giant cannon and possessing the ability to activate berserker rage mode, can now upgrade to the advanced job classes of either Deadly Chaser or Iron Paladin.
Chung masters marksmanship as a Deadly Chaser, gaining the ability to dual-wield two revolvers, which makes him a lethal ranged opponent in the ever-evolving player versus player (PvP) environment. He also gains additional speed and stealth skills, making him perfect for players who prefer controlling a highly agile character.
Those who prefer a "tank" class will favor Chung's Iron Paladin upgrade, wherein his family's legendary armor Freitunier is hardened with magical energy, making him nearly indestructible during dungeons runs with friends. As an Iron Paladin, Chung also gains a host of new mele

Elsword now supports Gamepads
By: Zevri posted at Oct 11, 2011 10:28 am - 0
Most of you know by now that I am a sucker when it comes to being able to use a gamepad in a game, whether it is using a 3rd party program to achieve that goal, or if the game natively supports it, I am thrilled to be able to use it. This is one of those situations where it is natively supported, and I am happy for it.
Today on Elsword’s homesite, they announced that the game finally now supports controllers natively! There is no certain specification of any particular brand favored over the other, like how some you see preferring the xbox controller. They just specify that it should be able to hook to your pc, and work with Windows. So dust off any old gamepad you have laying around that can connect to your pc and go off and explore while sitting back and relaxing, instea
