So Funcom/EA has really been promoting their new MMO "The Secret World", and it seems to work. It has gamers including myself who isn't that interested in p2p games, interested. As you may also be aware is that one of the things they have done to promote is showcase the different factions by showing a bit of who they are and how they work, and what players can expect if they join into their ranks. For those interested in just getting into the game, they are still recruiting for the ranks in cbt, but the game itself will go gold sometime in April.
Well right now, they released a new trailer for the faction I am most interested in, the Illuminati, who believe that knowledge is power and control how things turn out from the shadows. Now the trailer is as you expect, mostly a cg trailer,
I found this over at Blue's News, but apparently you Rift players will be getting a slight price drop, at least if you get the annual subscription. Which is now $99 annually, it was previously $119, which saves you about $20 annually from the original price and still is a sight better than paying the $14 a month plan.
Not only that but there is another bonus for you all if you purchase any multi-month plan during this month, you will get another month free. So if you are paying the month to month sub plan, love the game, get yourself a multi-month plan with an extra on the house.
Well not all of the details are released for the champ yet, right now it is just the art spotlight. From the spotlight though, this looks like it may be an interesting champ. For one thing, it is another female champ....and she is riding a boar?
Since all I can do is speculate from the art I have to guess that she will be a dps or off tank dps champ, just by the look of her. Why do I guess this, you may ask? Well aside from the general look of a flail and a charging boar, she highly reminds me of HoN's hero Rampage. Which, if you never played HoN he was a hero that road a rhino and had a charge/push attack which stunned and was a fairly hard hitting hero if you built him right. The art splash for Senjauni pretty much reminds me of that, so I wonder if she will have any stuns that involve the boar ramming enemy champions or even just a charge skill?
Either way the art for her looks cool, and I am really tempted to start saving up for her in anticipation. So what do you all thi...
Well remember yesterday when I told you all about the revisions with Jax, and how they would go into it with more detail during his new champion spotlight? Well, not long ago they released his new spotlight. The spotlight is like any other as it does and shows off the champion, gives players some tips on how to play the champions and showing off their skills.
This spotlight shows off his new build without the use of dodge. For this he still has counter which allows him to dodge all attacks for a short bit, then stuns nearby champs. I was a little worried from the sound of it and how they worried it that it may be 'broken' a bit and making it so players would have a bit more advantage with that type of skill. Though by seeing it in the video, the time he does dodge is a short amount of time, so it doesn't seem too much of a threat. The best strategy at first glance seems to be exhaust and not hit during the duration, since the more he dodges, the more damage the skill doe...
I saw thing news over at Gaming Blend and thought I would share it. Razer has unveiled their own gaming tablet, which they teased people about over last week, which they dubbed as "Project Fiona". One thing you notice that is a bit different from this tablet compared to others is the interface, which has controls on either side.
Another thing that sets this apart from standard tablets, is that this is designed to play full fledge pc games. You may have noticed that in the picture above it has Space Marine. Well the tablet is aimed towards pc gamers, and actually will be able to play some of the latest games on it.
In the article they also share some of the specifications that the tablet may have. I say may because it is up for debate in that they may change the s
We all knew it was coming, since dodge is slowly making its way out of the picture, so now they have finally reworked Jax and announced how he will be with his new build. This was something a lot of players were wondering about since dodge is sort of a main stat for any Jax player.
Anybody who played or played against a Jax player knew how reliant he was on the dodge stat. First it was getting a bunch of Phantom Dancers, who for those that remember originally had a dodge stat on them, then ninja tabi, which will soon no longer have the dodge state, and the dodge runes which have already been refunded but they still allowed people to buy them till it is removed from the game. So what is happening with the new Jax without ninja tabis, dodge runes, and things like that?
Well they rew
So since I know that some of you do enjoy the reviews I do, when I get the time to do them. This time, as the title suggests, I am working on a review for BBGsite, which many of you know as the sister site of MMosite. To where MMosite focuses on downloadable games, BBGsite works on browser games.
The game I am working on now is Conquest of Thrones. If you're into browser games, you may have heard of it since it seems to be making some headway as a browser game which uses 3d graphics and looks fairly good for a non downloadable game. It uses a launcher that seems to be similar to unity but is called "fancy" instead, odd name I know. But it does seem to give the desired results, the game is fairly good looking for a browser game which offers some basic features to alter the look a littl
As the title suggests, early this morning Viktor has been released in the NA region. If you haven't patched the game today, don't worry about it. He wasn't released through the patch, but was pre-loaded into the game in an earlier patch, and was just unlocked today during their emergency maintenance. Yea, I was a bit surprised too when I was in a match and suddenly a Viktor joins in.
Together with his release, they have also released the champion spotlight for him, which I will put at the bottom of the video. From the spotlight, and my time playing with someone who owns him, I have to say he is a bit of an odd champion, and may take some time to get used to. To quote the guy I played with, "He is weird".
First off he may be one of the more flexible mages, sinc...
It is that time of the week again when the free champions of the week are changed. This weeks line-up you can see in the image at the bottom of the page. Depending on who you are you may like or dislike this rotation, I am more in the like category. Which yea, you generally see me on this when rotations happen, since there are a lot of champions I like and like to use.
This is another line-up mixed with champs I love and own. The ones I own from this weeks line-up are Annie, Cho'gath, and Twitch. Out of the other ones we have this week that I actually like from this line-up; Ahri, Blitzcrank, Shen, Irelia, and Miss Fortune. Blitz is a pain to go against if the player is good, well aimed grabs can ruin you in early ganks and trap you near their tower if you get too close.
So some of you may not have seen the recent news at Riot, but they're doing something nice for a lot of players who have actually behaved and not felt the wrath of the Tribunal, then you have a nice surprise in store. They've announced they they're gifting Summoners who have behaved the past two months with 450 Riot Points.
Okay, so some of you may be saying that this isn't enough to get you a 520 RP skin, or a 975 RP skin on sale. But it is still enough to get you a basic skin, or even a nice 520 one when they're on sale. Plus, it's free. For me, that means another skin from the card I recently bought+ the 300 RP I got as bonus for buying RP, so I am happy. For those that don't spend money on the game, just wait for a good sale on a skin you may have been eyeballing. 520 on
