gamigo got hacked - be sure to change your password

Source: http://forum.gamigo.com/showthread.php?2-Important-Change-your-passwords!&p=5816
I swear, everyone is getting hacked. A couple days ago I noticed that gamigo's site was down and it left a minor warning, I didn't think much of it at the time, but it seems like they're added to the list of a growing number of companies that have been getting hacked lately.
They're warning players on their forums that if you have an account with them, go and change your password. They have reset all user passwords, to help do damage control on the situation, and have left instructions on how to change your password to something else. They have backed up all character data and things of that nature, so there is no worry about that. Though they do not know if any other personal
...Assassin's Creed 3 Magazine Scans

Source: http://www.gamekyo.com/blognews_article277899.html
One of the games I am waiting for is the next installment of Assassin Creed, which is the third in the series and features a new Assassin Persona. Now, for those of you who have been playing the other games, you know that Ezio has had a long run and we have seen him go through various stages in his life, which went a lot longer than Altair who only got the first game and a couple handheld games.
As for information on the new game, there was information released which showed that the game does have an American revolution theme, which is a bit different that the previous installments, and shows the new Assassin named Connor. According to the article, we'll be able to go through Connors childhood which was on the American
...Mass Effect 3 Launch Trailer
As the days tick by, and those who ordered the game, wait for it to arrive (Like me). We still do what we can to get a fix; whether that be playing the previous installments one more time, checking out more information into the game, or anything else you can think of. Well, to help sate that hunger for the game, Bioware has released the Launch Trailer of the game to get you set for the released, which is on March 6th.
The trailer seems to set the pace of what you can expect form the game, which is the Reaper invasion incoming and Shepard getting ready to defend against it with his companions. If I may, the trailer is a bit epic. It shows the races attempting to join together to go against their common foe and has a cameo of a familiar face from ME2, which makes you wonder how much of a role he plays in the third installment. (The Illusive Man)
Unfortunately, due to time restraints on my end, I am not properly ready for the game. I haven't had the chance to re-beat 1/2, since
...Origin auto-adds EA games you bought on Steam...Thoughts?

Source: http://goo.gl/xgJ1m
So I saw this on Joystick just now, but apparently EA's Origin Service is auto-adding any EA games you may have bought through steam onto your Origin Account. This was found out since some players started noticing copies of Mass Effect and Dead Space 2, which they purchased on Steam, started showing up on their account. Out of curiosity I downloaded Origin to see if it would add my EA games from Steam, and it didn't do it right away, so I am guessing it takes time for it to add them, I will state in the comments though if that changes.
But the biggest question is, how do you feel about them scanning your computer like that? Of course this is all in the EULA so they're not doing anything wrong, but it does feel odd having them scan for the games an
New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 14)

It's that time of the week again, when the new champion line-up is out and players get to try out champions they haven't played yet, or wish that there were new ones released, instead of just all the ones they already own.
This week actually marks the first week of Nautilus being free to play, which will actually get my friend who is saving for him to play League of Legends a bit more. This was actually expected though given that they have been getting in the habit of putting new champions into the rotation when another new champ is about to be released.
Is it just me though or are there like no Nautilus players anymore? Since he has been released, I have only seen him in game about two times, and then he fell off the face of Demacia. The times I went against him, he seemed like a sol
Nexus Conflict Beta Sign Up

Gamingo is coming out with another new game soon, the good news is that the beta sign-ups are already underway. The new game is Nexus Conflict, and it is a tactical real time strategy game that is based in the Black Prophecy universe, which is another game hosted by them.
The unique thing about this game, from the given information so far, is that while it is a space combat game, it does try to incorporate features from standard mmorpgs. With the team play in the game, players can take on roles such as the tank, healer, or damage dealer, and use that to form a good combo when going into the reaches of space. This also kinda sounds odd given the theme, but depending on how they do it and how they actually explain the roles, especially the healer, I guess it could work out. (Main
...Champion Sneak Peek Fiora, The Grand Duelist

So it is that time again, a short time has passed since Nautilus was released, and Riot is at it again. This time it looks to be melee champion. Is it just me or does her comic look a bit similar to how Talon's was? I dunno, that was just the first thing that came to mind when I saw it.
The new champion is Fior, the Grand Duelist. The back story on her is this, as taken from LoL's website:
"Fiora, the Grand Duelist, has even made quite the name for herself by dealing with any scamp, scoundrel, miscreant, rogue, scalawag or rapscallion she runs across according to this time-honored Demacian tradition. If you happen to run into each other, it’s probably best you keep your temper level if you don’t want to find yourself staring down her sword point!"
Since "Duelists" are typically
Blizzard may be coming out with a F2P title

Source: http://www.develop-online.net/news/39915/New-Blizzard-game-to-be-free-to-play
Well some interesting news over at the website Develop states that Blizzard is currently working on a Free-to-Play game. Not only that they claim that they're expanding their model to continue to create both subscription and freemium titles.
Which may not be too surprising considering that they did do the update with WoW to have it free to play till level 20. By improving on that and actually make free and sub titles, they can expand their market even more and may have less haters on their case. I admit, I have tried WoW, I tried it a couple times actually, but I could never get into it, the game just wasn't my style and didn't suit me. Doesn't mean I would rage about it, but just that I
Thoughts on Mass Effect 3's Day One DLC?

Don't know how many of you follow the progression of Mass Effect 3 as the days get closer to the release, but if you haven't then you may not have heard of Bioware/EA's stunt at more cash on release day. On the day of release, they plan to release a DLC called "From Ashes" the DLC adds a new companion to the list of squad mates you can get in the game, kind of like what they did with Mass Effect 2 and Zaeed.
The only difference of this is, that the new DLC will cost around $10, instead of the previous one being free to those who purchased a new copy. But here is where it gets better, the price tag is for those who didn't purchase a digital deluxe version of the game, or Collector's Edition. But everyone else, including those who pre-ordered the standard editions (like m
AION is going to go F2P this spring

Around two months ago AION in the EU region went free-to-play, soon the NA version will follow. So if you're from the EU, you probably couldn't care less about this announcement, but for those of you in the NA region, this may matter to you. To think, the last time I played AION was when it was released in China and I was fumbling around trying to understand how to do each thing in the game, but now I may have another reason to pick up the game again.
This announcement also comes with what players can expect in the free-to-play model and what will be coming in the 3.0 patch. As with most announcements on the switch to f2p model, what they say we can have access to, doesn't sound too bad. We just need to wait to see what we won't have access too. One thing that has me a bit more
