Patch 4.1, the first major content patch of Cataclysm's life cycle, has been mentioned a few times lately here on WoW Insider, sparked by Alex Afrasiabi's commentary narrating a zone overview for G4. Since then, many players have asked the question: What is actually in patch 4.1? What do we know about it? Do we know anything?
We don't know everything that will be contained in patch 4.1, but between BlizzCon and more recent information, Blizzard has already outlined a number of the major features from the patch. Let's take a look at those features, shall we?
Hyjal daily quests
A new daily quest hub will be added to Hyjal, one of the two Cataclysm starting zones. This quest hub will actually progress the overall story of the zone. If you've quested through Hyjal, y
An anonymous source, who claims to have recently been let go by Bungie, has suggested their latest game - named 'Destiny' and codenamed 'Tiger' - mixes FPS elements into an MMO with a Sci-Fi setting. According to the source, he and roughly 30 other contractors were let go yesterday citing "budgetary concerns" from their "publisher". The game is set to be published by Activision Blizzard. Bungie has updated their site denying their publisher asked them to let go of any staff.
It real surprises me. I don’t think bungie would treat their employees badly. Why would they fire off 30 employees randomly? What’s your opinion?
[Edit] OK, Bungie has had a say.
“The claim is false.”
Someone is clearly trying to stain their reputation. lol.

The APB Reloaded blog has been a treasure trove of information and lengthy developer diatribes of late. We've gotten so used to the fact that Sundays normally bring a giant post from the guys at GamersFirst that it was something of a shock to see this week's relatively tiny entry.
Said entry still contains important news though, particularly for those of you interested in jumping aboard the APB Reloaded closed beta train. According to the blog, you've got until midnight PST on Tuesday, February 15th to submit your application. The beta will be rolled out to three different regions: US-West, US-East, and Europe, each with "slightly different times."
GamersFirst has tentatively scheduled the initial beta salvo for the week of February 28th, and has also reported that the number o
Actually Discipline is more powerful than holy in 4.0.6, lol anyway, this is my Holy talents.
Talk about some changes in 4.06, when the mana cost of renew reduces and the Prayer of Healing nerfed, Renew is the main way to heal, so the five points are necessary i think.
Divine Touch: Your Renew will instantly heal the target for 10% of the total periodic effect.
Improved Renew: Increases the amount healed by your Renew spell by 10%.
Rapid Renewal: Reduces the global cooldown of your Renew by 1 sec.
ArenaNet's Regina Buenaobra said at guildwars2guru’s forum today. To re-emphasize:”the existence of friends and family closed alpha and closed beta this year has changed nothing about the release date. The release date continues to be: when the game is ready.
There is no application process for the closed alpha or closed beta. We have noticed an increase in scam sites that purport to take your contact information in exchange for closed alpha or closed beta access. Please avoid these! Again, we are not taking applications.”
As for the scam site thing, hopefully none is stupid enough to fall for that stuff. Unless it is coming directly from ArenaNet, don't believe it. Anyway Guild Wars 2's closed alpha and beta testing will be happening in 2011.
This is a parody from the second Ip man movie. This one following the trend, is about Blizzard not wanting to nerf fury warriors.
