Lost Saga WCG2010 Tournament Rules

Official tournament rules for World Cyber Games 2010 are now released!



Game Version

Based on North America's June 24th Update - on an independent server

Attendance

Parent consent form is required for players who were born on after September 30th, 1998 (For all off-line match)

General

-Format: 3vs3 / 5 rounds 3 wins
-Limited to 6 Heroes per player
-If there is no sign of battle for a certain period of time the referee may call a warning / disqualification / rematch.
-Your team wins when all of your opponents are captured or dropped, or when the opponents decide to withdraw.

Game Setting

-Mode: Prisoners / Custom Mode (WCG2010)
-Map: WCG 2010 (Random - Work Site, Cube, Wild West, Refinery, Ankor Wat)

Incidents during the game

_Disconnection caused by system / network / PC / power issue.
>Happens in 1 min after the match begins: rematch
>Happens after 1 min of the match begins:
1. Remaining HP will be calculated and analyzed and the WCG officials will determine the winning team.
2. In such case where the remaining HP cannot determine the winner a rematch will take place.
-Forced disconnection: if the referee finds that the disconnection was a result of a player's intention that player will be disqualified.

Cheating 

-Using cheat / hack program
-Forced lag / disconnection
-Intentional standby / delay in a match for over 30 sec
-Ill-mannered chat 
-Losing on purpose
-Getting help from external source (Press, other team member, spectator, etc) The referee has the right to call a warning / disqualification when he/she determines that the player was helped.
-Any action that is considered against sportsmanship or that could have affect on the other team (ex. yelling).
-Abusing any bug/glitch to have an advantage

The referee has the right to call out an action that is considered to be cheating. He/she may give a warning or disqualify the player from the tournament.

During the tournament, the WCG officials may edit or add in the list of actions considered cheating.

Modification

The rules are subject to change under following circumstances:

-WCG officials decide to use the recently updated patch/version
-WCG officials decide to change any game system/option to meet the recently updated version/patch
-WCG officials decide to install additional security/cheat-detection program
-WCG officials decide to change the rules/tournament structure according to the differences within on/off-line environment.

Additional Information

-Tournament account creation (each player's rank will remain the same)
-Account setting will occur with the following information received from the players
1) 6 Heroes selected by each player
2) Each Hero's level set to 50. 100 Upgrade Points rewarded for each Hero
-Each account receives +1 Epic Gear (all 54 kinds) one each.
