Mavlock
For X-Box 360 this week we have:

Mavlock’s Notes: Are you ready WEAVER!?! You get nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! YOU SO STUPID! That’s how a feel when I look at the list of releases for XBLA the past two weeks. After the initial release of Torchlight and Dragon Age 2 release day DLC, I’m left empty and bitter. Nothing worth talking about for the Xbox these past two weeks, so go finish playing Dragon Age 2.
Next up is PSN (Playstation Network):
DC Universe Online – (PSN) A massively-multiplayer experience, DC Universe Online brings high-energy action to the forefront with a combat system designed to deliver a fast-paced action experience with the extraordinary powers of your personally created heroes and villains at your disposal. Battle with or against their favorite DC Super Heroes and Villains including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Joker. For the very first time, players and fans will be able to enter this fabled world as an active force for good or evil.
Mavlock’s Notes: While it’s not a new release you can now buy it directly through PSN, thus ending the debate if you need to pull yourself away from the couch.
Legend of Mana — (PSONE) The world of Fa’Diel is a formless mass. It is up to you to create the world, using artifacts that are spread throughout the world. At the beginning of the game, the player must choose a female or male character, a starting weapon, and place to start. Once in the starting area, the player will be able to complete a small quest and find more artifacts. With that done, the new artifacts can be placed on the map to create new areas that have their own unique mini-quests. There is a total of 60 quests and artifacts to discover. The best way to think of all of the stories is to consider them the songs on a record. Individually, they are great; however, when combined they make up something much larger. The world of Fa’Diel will become what you make it in Legend of Mana.
Mavlock’s Notes: Successor to Secret of Mana name, though it never held the same place in my heart. SoM was a blast playing co-op with friends and the same can be done with LoM.
Parasite Eve — (PSONE) A fateful night at the opera house triggers in one woman the power to cause all those around her to spontaneously incinerate, and in another woman an innate resistance to the attack. You assume the role of the second woman New York cop Aya Brea as she comes to realize that the fate of humanity will be determined by her actions.
Mavlock’s Notes: Parasite Eve, man what a great game. One of my favorite horror/rpg games on the Playstation. I’m glad to see it return, the past few weeks of releases on the playstation one games have been divine. It almost makes me want to go buy a PS3 again.
Lastly Wii:
Mavlock’s Notes: Two weeks of updates and still nothing worth a damn? Am I the only one who sees a problem here. Nintendo really doesn’t have much love for us RPGers these days.
