Lushy
Well, this isn't a blog about gaming, which I haven't had any time to do, so if you're expecting this, go ahead and leave.
I just felt like ranting a bit in text because it's 1 am and I haven't shit else to do.
Let's see, where to start...oh yes. I moved. It may not be a big deal, but this is the first time I've been with so few people in the house where I live, at least since before my sister was born. Firstly, it was just me and my mother, then when I was 6 turning 7, my mom had a baby girl. So it's always been at least 3 of us...not counting up to 4 when my mom did have a boyfriend. When I was 22 and moved out to my best friends house, it was a lot of people...Well..sorta. It started out with me, him and his mother in her house. We stayed in the basement that we worked out...sort of like a work/live thing. See, she bought this brand new house and skimped out on the extras, so we were going to finish the basement and she let us live there. We built a room for ourselves, went to work during the day, had some fun drywalling, but then it got crowded.
His brother, who decided one day to move in with his then girlfriend, then got put out, parked all of his shit next to us in an open space. He never put any work into building on the basement and just left a funny smell with his crap everywhere...Actually, I'm getting ahead of myself. His sister, who was away at college, decided she didn't like it and took the actual second bedroom upstairs...then brought over her bf...then the brother came...all sharing one bathroom. 6 of us including the mother.
After 2 years of that hell, luck struck me with a better job and we finally moved out the end of last month. Now it's the two of us, sharing this large condo we go on some shady deal, where every room is painted a different color. While the slight noise might upset some people who aren't use to it, when you live in a basement for 2 years with everyone stomping above your head...a slight noise on a thick ceiling doesn't bother me at all.
While, I do have my 90 day review coming up, while I'm not too worried, the 'new assistant boss' is kind of an asshole and likes to nitpick. The actual boss is awesome...sorta of an old couger lady hippie type, but the new guy...geesh. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a 'you do well but you're on a warning', type of deal on Tuesday for my 1 1/2 days absent out of 90, in which I more than made up the time. Neither of those days did I 'not' come in, I just had to leave early. Once I puked and had heartburn, the other I had to get my settlement check my old job was holding hostage.
While none of this might make sense to anyone who bothers reading it, again, I was just bored and felt like collecting my thoughts. Browsing the net trying to find ways to curb my oral fixation. Not that I smoke or anything, I'm a nail biter, but it's gross and unhealthy...it's not as bad as smoking, but I bite my nails to a point where they hurt or I'll bleed. I chew my lip too, and gum doesn't help. I'm bad at chewing gum...I bite my cheek all the time. I suck on my bottom lip too, so any suggestions other than I should suck more cock...I heard that already. Thanks. Ah, there I go chewing on my nail again. Bah.
Also thinking about finishing college...I hate school. More so, I hate public gatherings. I always worked with customer service, but I honestly hate people. I hate sitting in classes and even though I was making straight A's, esp in classes in art, writing, and speech, I hate it. I skipped and failed, dropped out, now I get free tution (yay for working at a college), but meh....I want to finish my liberal arts-2 year, then transfer to a school that has an animation program, but I couldn't work days if I did that...Haha, yeah, Lushy is a little wannabe cartoonist.
I suppose I'll feel better once I get a new drawing table and little corner of my own. The new 'pc' room, I'll be run out of soon. Some people build cars or models, my roommate builds on his PC. I'm expecting it to look like something out of Akira in here in under a year....
Well, that's...about it. My fingers are getting stiff, but I'm still not sleepy. A little hungry, maybe. I'll just turn on something and check to see if AION is less laggy.
