Pelagato
Age of Wushu (Beta), first impressions.
Age of Wushu is a fantasy martial arts game, its one of those hybrid mmos taking features from the old school first generation mmos and the more contemporary second generation mmos. You do quests and kill stuff around in some places but at the same time your leveling is class less and it happens over time.
Standard character creator, it gets the job done without anything too fancy.
One of the things that got my attention is the way your character progression works, instead of leveling up in a more classic or obvious way, you have to get xp over time by playing the game and then you use that sort of XP to upgrade your individual skills. How to do it…? Well that is the thing, you can do it over time or by expending some in-game currency. Character progression is kinda bizarre in this game. It’s not bad, but it’s strange.
Those are some of my menu options, all around the screen.
When I got into the game for the first time, I notice that the interface is full of menus, it can be very overwhel
Razer Game Booster (Beta) - Review
Razer Game Booster is one of those applications made for gamers, what this free tool does is simple, optimize your computer and give you better gaming performance, at least that is what it does in theory. The good news is that unlike other gamer tools, this one does something for real, other than just messing with your in-game settings.
The most basic concept behind this tool is that you launch your games from the Razer Game Booster and the program optimizes your computer by shutting down unnecessary processes, services and cleaning up your ram, not to mention that your power profile is going to be set to high performance while you play the game, no more power savings while you play your games.
At the same time, this tool will tweak your registry and a few other things in your computer, like defragmenting a game directly and take down some services that you don’t need for gaming. I will dare to say that Razer Game Booster is one of the best tools for gamers around the place if you are no
Hawken!!! – Review
Hawken is a fast pace ‘free 2 play’ shooter, its main feature is that instead of shooting from the perspective of a person (yourself), you go around in a mech, destroying other mechs or completing other objectives in one of its four game modes.
The game was also featured in the Nvidia drivers installer some time ago, that probably explains why the game have Physx and a lot of explosion and mayhem, the game really looks good. Awesome graphics, awesome explosions and tons of pew pew, don’t forget that everything sounds so beefy if you have some nice headphones.
The game doesn’t really lacks anything in the graphics or sound department, you have very detailed mechs, a lot of special effects, flying debris and very good environments, I really like how the maps look, they are so futuristic and robotish but at the same time they are not ridiculous. The feeling of the game feels very mature to me and not so childish like other robot games, like the defunct Exteel.
Fear the cookie maker!

Ghost Recon Online - Synopsis
Ghost Recon Online – Synopsis
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online, is one of those quirky shooters that are not exactly your standard FPS game. The game is a nice blend between tactical shooting and fragfest, one of its main features is that the game is in third person and first person at the same time.
As a whole, the game is fun to play and it feels refreshing, you have your weapons and gadgets, shooting alone is not good enough in this game. Unfortunately, there are also some issues around the place that are very frustrating.
I was kinda skeptical when I first played this game, because the third person perspective only means one thing, wall peeking! I was kind of surprised because the game dynamics help you out against those pesky wall ‘peekers’.
The Good.
+ Nice looking graphics, in the high setting. They graphics are good, they get the job done without lagging your system all the way down to hell.
+ Tactical Shooting, taking cover and knowing when to run are essential in this game,
Planetside 2 - Review...
Planetside 2, is probably the only "Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter" aka MMOFPS. I am saying such thing because is the only shooter that is massive. You can have hundreds or thousands of players in one of its 3 continents. Its not like one of those free shooters with 16, 24 or 32 players per match. After all, we are fighting all over the planet of Auraxis.
Massiveness is the game strong point, you join one of the 3 factions, get into the map and then go where the action is, joining a fight that can last a few minutes or some hours. You can try to spawn in a closer location or you can try to get a vehicle and drive your way to the fray.
No matter what you do, you are in the same map with every other player around the place, you have to move there and you better have a Sunderer with you, if you dont want to walk the whole continent twice, not to mention that a Sunderer is essential if you want to take an enemy base, you cant spam the hot drop feature.
In the game you have
The Secret World - Takes the B2P route, any good?
The Secret World was released some time ago, the game is not exactly a normal mmo, its a niche, one that is full of zombies, mummies, vampires and all sorts of urban legends. Originally the game was another P2P title, pay your monthly fee, then wack a lot of monsters in the face in a very special environment, one that is not like all the WoWish copycats that we have in the market right now.
The only issue was the subscription fee, why pay for a game when you can buy another game that is as good as TSW and doesn't need a subscription fee? I dont really see any reason to pay 15 bucks for a game if there is another mmo around the place that doesnt need a fee, only a single box payment with a small cashshop at its side. (I am looking at you GW2)...
Well, it looks like Funcom made a nice decision, we no longer have to pay a subscription fee to play the game! We can get some sort of VIP membership that will give some benefits like extra XP and a monthly stipend that you can later on use
Modern Artwork, can you do it? (Eve Online)
Hey peeps, it looks like the modern art museum in New York is interested in some EVE artwork and footage made by the players, apparently there is a modern art convention and CCP wants the players to be the authors of the EVE content that is going to be showed up there.
All the information is in this developer blog entry... http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=74037 ... but if reading all that stuff is not your thing, let me short it out for you...
What you need to do is...
1. Record a high quality video about eve...
2. Post it on youtube...
3. Then link it to CCP Archivist
If your video is good enough, there is a chance that they will show it up in that artwork convention in that museum in New York... Too bad that CCP cant give us any warranty that we are going to be able to see our videos if they made it into the convention lol!...
The only issue is that all videos need to be submitted before December 9th... So we only have around 36 hours before they lea

Guild Wars 2 - Free Trial Weekend!!!
Hey peeps, if you have a friend that doesn't have GW2 and he cant make up his mind... Then now is the chance, Anet is going to let you give away 3 free trial tokens to your 3 best friends. Apparently this free trial promotion is going to be run in parallel with the Lost Shores event.
It looks like Anet wants a lot of people in that event, maybe they pull something big that will convince a lot of free trial users that GW2 is the MMO of the future.
If you really need more info, then hit this link https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/free-trial-event-november-15-18/ or just open up your game launcher and look for all the info you need from there.
Keep in mind that this is only temporary, make sure that your best brofriend have enough time this weekend if you really want to get him into GW2.
One last thing!!!! The Trial keys are limited, so you better be fast and get one or two if you want to let someone in...
More hackers stealing our stuff!!! (playspan.com)
Hey peeps, yesterday I received an email from Gamersfirst.com telling me that Playspan.com was hacked. Those two companies are not related but the fact is that I got the friggin email, telling me that playspan.com (one of the many ETC codes distributors) was hacked!!!!
I am not sure if what I saw is true or false but the email looks very neat and they are not asking for information or anything, they simply want people to take some precautions by changing their gamersfirst account password.
It looks like playspan.com is another place in the internet that is not so safe anymore.... Nothing is safe on earth!!! The best thing you can do is have a very long password and make sure that every account you have use a different password. I am not going crazy or insane, security is becoming a new issue.
So many companies keep getting hacked, probably because an enrage employee help the hackers or the company security is the ultimate junk in the universe... Who knows...!!!
I am sure abou
