Kritika Online Newly Released Psion Class Early Gameplay

Kritika Online recently released the Psion class character, Eclair. The character was released at the beginning of this month and has since received good feedback. Personally, by far it is the most fun class I have played in Kritika Online. And that's saying a lot because on top of all four characters in the Western version, I have also played all of the unreleased classes including the latest one in Korea and China, the Archer.

Eclair offers superior mid-range capabilities and is not too difficult to control. I definitely prefer Eclair's Korean voice actress more than the English, but you can see for yourself how the English voice acting is and a bit of Eclair's early gameplay.

With Eclair now on the table, there are now five total playable class in NA and EU. Nobleria, Monk, and Archer have yet to be released.

Project Z MMORPG Chinese Closed Beta Gameplay & Copied Assets

Project Z, the Chinese Isometric MMORPG went into a closed beta last week and now we can review its gameplay. If you haven't heard about Project Z yet, it's a medieval MMORPG with gameplay similar to games such as Lineage Eternal and Lost Ark. Features include farming, housing, sea gameplay, dungeons, and more. The game is developed by game developer ChangYou, the same people in charge of the Chinese version of Warframe and the upcoming God Slayer.

From the beta we have seen that its combat system appears to be tab target, with flashy and beautiful skill effects, but unsatisfactory attacks. We can also see a lot of game assets that have been copied from other notable games such as BGM from Aion and Skyrim, skill icons from World of Warcraft and ArcheAge. You can see all and more of these in my news video below.

Peria Chronicles Game Overview

Peria Chronicles has been running low key for more than a few months, and lately there have been talks of news on the game's progress in the near future. While a good number of players may know about the existence of Peria Chronicles, most have not heard of its many amazing and unique features. Some notable ones being the Kirana-based combat system, terraforming, mini-game creation, and player-made dungeons.Today I will tell you about those features and why Peria Chronicles is a game I highly recommend you keep an eye out for.

Peria Chronicles is a very player driven game in which a lot of the content are created by the players, and how those content are played are also decided by the players. Check it out in the video below, and the timestamps for sections and notable points are listed in the pinned comment.

Ashes of Creation Pre-Alpha Combat Impressions

Here are my thoughts on the pre-alpha combat of Ashes of Creation. Over the weekend at PAX Prime, Intrepid Studios had a playable demo version of their flagship game Ashes of Creation. A lot of gameplay footage came pouring of the pre-alpha version over the three days that PAX players were able to play the game.

The four playable archetypes: Archer, Mage, Cleric, Tank

The game is set to go into Alpha Zero on December 15, 2017 and other more alpha phases in the months after that. A full release is still only expected to be in 2019.

Review of Elsword in 2017 & New Elrianode Expansion

Here is my review and overview of my gameplay in Elsword Online as well as my impressions of the new Elrianode expansion that was released last month. I cover the characters, early gameplay, game basics, story, graphics, social aspects, player vs player, late gameplay, and others.

Elrianode expansion came with new challenging dungeons including the Hall of El and El Tower Defense which I show off in the video.

I was granted the chance to play max level characters to be able to give my thoughts on these new content. Though Elsword has been out for almost a decade, since it is an episodic game, it is still getting major updates. Thanks for watching!

Bless Online New Taming System & Console Rumor

A console version of Bless Online may be flying lowkey under the radar with Neowiz hiring  for several positions related to console game development, including programmers, a project manager, UI designers, and character artists.

The companion update was patched into the test server a few days ago giving access to the new taming, legendary mount skins, and new companion upgrading.

⊹ They put in  a bunch of new items related to this system in the cash shop. Growth Elixirs, Blessing Powders, and Upgrade Stones all related to helping you get a higher rank and higher level companion more easily. This is for testing purposes on the live servers so that the legendary mounts and pets can be obtained in the time period of the test phase. It's not guaranteed that the companion upgrade items

Closers Online Review & First Impressions

There is a high possibility that En Masse Entertainment, the same publisher for TERA and more recently Kritika Online will be publishing Closers Online. Here is my review of Closers focused on gameplay, combat, character progression, and other core features of the game.

Playing this game was actually really fun for me and this review wasn’t at all difficult to write, since 2D sidescroll combat games like Blazblue and Guilty Gear were always my go to games to relax afterschool as kid.

What do you think of Closers Online? Do you think it can do well in the west?

Developer: Naddic Games

Korean Publisher: Nexon (KR)
NA Publisher: Rumored to be En Masse Entertainment

The Mythical Realm 2 (Xian Xia II) Character Creation Review

Here are ups and downs for The Mythical Realm 2's character creation. Mythical Realm 2 is a Wuxia themed MMORPG with a flight system.

• All classes can play as all four body types.
• There's a lot of freedom when it comes to the range of sliders for body parts. The creator let me create some bizarre looking creatures as can be seen in the video below.
• The actual characters are very detailed. No part of the body is chunky in graphics.
• The last 10 creations are automatically saved and can be opened up at any time.

• The creator has many similarities with Revelation Online's character creator, way too many.
• The majority of the hair styles are copied from other games such as Revelation Online and some anime like Guilty Crown. I am inclined to believe there is not a single hair style that is unique to The Mythical Realm 2.
• There is no RGB colorwheel, and few color options to choose from.

If you are interested in a review of The Mythical Realm 2's gameplay, you can read that he

Bless Online NA/EU Combat Rework, KR Cash Shop "P2W?" and JP CBT1

Here’s my review of Bless Online's "combat rework", how P2W the KR cash shop is, localization, optimization, and what I think Aeria Games needs to do for the NA/EU release to be successful in the Western market.

Bless Online's JP Closed Beta is also starting on April 28th. Not sure if there will be an IP block yet, but the JP CBT1 will last for a week and you will only be able to select one of 4 classes (Guardian, Berserker, Paladin or Mage) and play up to level 25.
