Review: Legend of Golden Plume

My Rating: 7.5 Above Average MMO.

1. Download & Install
   Well the downloading was the easy part, it took me 40 minutes to download it using a download manager. When it finally finished, I doubled click the installer, and yada, yada, yada. Then after I was done installing, I couldn't fine the icon anywhere! Then I remembered the install location and headed over there. Only to find that you have to open the install folder, and click on the play.exe, after I did that it opened the patcher window. It looked pretty flashy, but at the bottom it had the button "Log Off". at that point, I stopped and though. "I didnt even log on". So regardless of that, I clicked enter, I chose my server and then clicked eneter again. I finally understood as it led me to the log in screen [1]. So dont get confused, the Log Off button only means to shut down the program.

2. Gameplay
   The best part is most likely this, when I first logged in, I noticed one of the mmo sins, no tutorial, the game just sends me on a quest, boom, there are 10 newb quests that you have to do. And on the second quest (New Comer 2), you have to kill 30 "Ugly Ducklings", talk about genocide. But as you play through the second quest you will grow like 3 levels in 2 minutes. You will then relize, this game is the easiest to level up in, and that is true!. I was level 10 in 5 minutes of playing. Here is the con, you might get bored after 5 mnutes, why? This game has an average attacking system, and not even a combo attack to break the boredom. Thats what happened to me. Then a miracle happens, around your 8th newb quest (New Comer 8), you get a quest to capture a monster, and after you finish the questm you will then know that this mmo is pet and monster based, you can capture and battle with mosters, talk about Pokemon. On the other hand, there are 5 classes, Swordsman, Warrior, Magician, Taoist, and Priest. You know you will be having fun*.

3. Graphics
   Do I really need to explain this? Well they are OK, not exactly what you would think of as a 3D mmo, but still, at least they hold a good par against Trickster, and much better than Tales of Pirates (PKO).

4. Extra
   Dosent deserve an extra, just joking, the great thing about this game (probably the only thing that spereates this game from others) is the unique but in depth pet system, you gotta love that pet system. And no walking eggs.

5. Overall
   Like I said this deserves a 7.5/10, Gameplay was ok, the only thing that is "making" it ok is the pet system. Otherwise its a painfuly plain clicker. The graphics are "ok" too, they are not really "hugh tech" making it ideal for low spec computers. And here is where I conclude: Playing this game was ok, and it passed some time for me.

SHOULD YOU TRY IT? Sure, its ok, although I would wait for the final release.
