James Joyce - Dubliners

Image from wikipedia.
I liked this collection of short stories.
What's an epiphany ?
From what I remember from school :
A sudden revelation that comes to us though a image, a music... and makes us realize something important that can make us change our actual feelings.
From wikipedia :
"sudden recognitions that changed their view of themselves or their social condition and often sparking a reversal or change of heart."
"An epiphany is the sudden realization or comprehension of the (larger) essence or meaning of something."
Now, the stories I liked more were :
The dead ( read it here en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Dead if you wish )
A painful case
A little cloud
An encounter
The first one ends with a reflection about life and love, I loved that.
Robert Louis Stevenson - Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Guess what? Image taken from Wikipedia again...
Not a great book for me.
I don't know why I didn't liked it much, but it never gave me any real emotion.
Maybe it's because everyone knows about what should be misterious in the story, so you don't feel like walking in the void when the characters are doing that.
I read also "The body snatcher" and "A chapter on dreams" from the same writer and it didn't look anything extraordinary.
The first one could be more thrilling but for some case it isn't at all, while the chapter on dreams reveals somewhat about the writer's ispiration and work on books/stories.
You don't like it ? --> LEAVE
This is all because what I've read countless times on mmosite forum and blogs...

I liked Silkroad because it has 2 possible buildings, European (Tank, Mage, Thief & co) and Chinese (Free development of the character), it has castle assault, but you're not always try to conquer that damn castle, you're usually killing monster.
I got bored of it.
You don't like Silkroad because it's full of bots, there's uber-grinding, and you're tired of "appearently" aimless quests ?
Nobody's paying you to play, unless cases listed by neramaar...
Or forcing you to do it, I don't believe botters are the Corean or part of the Chinese nation working for us...
Now quests and grinding are a problem about 90% of mmorpg's I guess so there are a lot of gamers that just won't stop playing and complaining.
I have my friends playing it, I'm not sure I'd like to play without them....
If you like the game because of the chat or for the community, then don't complain because you already have what you want.
If you want to play then move to a different game and then, after you have found it, try to get you friends to j
Bram Stoker - Dracula

Image from Wikipedia.
I thought it was a horror book and the beginning was awesome for a book of that genre .
Than it changes, it evolves .
I liked the characters and the story but somehow I felt the romance has gotten old.
I noticed it because sometimes characters are "too perfect", there's usually more ambiguity which brings deeper characters but maybe it's just a time and a way of being we lost. And there are way to many compliments for our world, or at least for my point of view.
- Dracula,
I think the fictional character is much more famous than the historical one.
The historical one was ALSO cruel, the vampire, you already know...
Pure charisma is what you mainly feel from him.
- Vam Helsing,
I hated the movie after I read the book.
When he writes "I'm scared" I was without breath.
Jonathan and Mina Harker, Seward, Quincey, Lucy, Arthur aren't unforgettable.
