Horizon: Zero Dawn, the open world action rpg developed by Guerrilla Games, is one of the most anticipated games and during Sony's E3 2016 press conference we saw a new gameplay video and got some new details about the game.
The game is set in the distant future, the world was destroyed many years ago and no one knows how or why. Nature has taken over and the new world has an essence of the primal age but instead of dinosaurs here we have machines, big mechanical creatures are the new wildlife of the planet. Your hero is named Aloy, a young woman determined to find out what happened to the world.
Aloy's main weapon is a bow but she has different types of arrows with special effect, she can scan the machines to find their weakness and use the type of damage they are vulnerable. After you defeat them you can loot them for components that you can use to craft new things. Aloy has also the ability to hack damaged machines and use them as mounts. The gameplay video also gave us a taste of the game's story, Aloy is facing a ferocious machine called the corrupter that can corrupt other mechanical creatures and make them aggressive.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is coming out for PlayStation 4 on February 28, 2017.
