World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth expansion and official vanilla server announced

Exciting news for World of Warcraft players as the seventh expansion Battle for Azeroth was announced during BlizzCon among other things.

In the new expansion three new races will join each faction with the Nightborne Elves, Highmountain Tauren and Zandalari Trolls teaming up with the Horde and the Void Elves, Lightforged Dranei and Dark Iron Dwarves joining the Alliance. The new races will be playable after players complete a quest line and the new characters will start at level 20.

Also the new expansion will introduce new areas, dungeons, raids and a new level cap to the game along with the new Islands system, where players team up with others to explore areas with random encounters. Another new addition to the game will be the Warfronts, where players will fight against other players to capture strategic locations.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Announced

The sequel of the action rpg Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor was officially announced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and is coming on August 22 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will continue the story of Talion and Celebrimbor. This time they will have a new Ring of Power on their possession in order to take down Sauron himself and his Nazgul.

The game will come in four different versions: standard, silver, gold and mithril with the last one including a 15-inch Tar-Goroth Balrog vs Carnan Drake statue, all the upcoming expansions of the game and many more.

Streamer dies during 24-hours streaming marathon

The 35-years-old American Twitch streamer Brian “ Poshybird” Vigneault has died during a 24-hour marathon on February 19. Vigneault was streaming World of Tanks to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Around 3:30AM he went for a smoke and never returned. People watching his stream assumed he had fallen asleep but hours later one of his friends sent him a message in discord to get a replay from a Virginia detective informing him that Vigneault was found dead.

According to the police the cause of death is still unknown although they have rejected the possibility of foul play.

Vigneault's gaming clan FAME has posted a the following statement on their Facebook page.

Ni No Kuni 2 showing combat gameplay in latest trailer

It has been six year since first great game and now Ni No Kuni is getting a sequel. Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdoms will launch for PS4 and PC in 2017. The game is developed by Level-5 with the team of the first game working on the sequel too.

In the latest trailer we see the flashy combat of the game as the party takes on a big troll. We also see how the exploration will work, with monsters being visible on world map so you can avoid the random encounters.

The main protagonist of the game is Evan, a boy king who must adventure through his kingdom and prove himself worthy. In his journey he will meet new other characters who will help him achieve his goal.

Ni No Kuni 2 will also feature a new kingdom creation system but there are no more details about this new feature. There is a good chance we will see something similar to Dark Chronicle, a previous game by Level-5 where you were gathering resources in your missions in order to built villages.

Castlevania animated series coming to Netflix

Konami's famous game Castlevania is coming to TV as animated series. As the streaming service Netflix announced yesterday in a press release we will see the first season of the series this year and the second one in 2018.

Castlevania animated series will tell the story of Belmont clan, the know family of vampire hunters from the games. As the last surviving members of the disgraced Belmont clan “they are trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself.”

According to the producer Adi Shankar, known for his work on Dredd, Machine Gun Preacher and The Grey, the series is going to be R-rated and the art design was inspired by series like Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Young Justice.

A first look at The Bard's Tale 4 combat

The Bard's Tale 4 is a first-person turn-based RPG developed by inXile, known for Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera.

The game is built on Unreal Engine 4 and it look beautiful. It will support up to six playable characters and two summoned creatures for the player to control. The combat is turn-based and the player will be able to choose between free movement and grid-based movement.

InXile also shed some light on the opportunity system. "The blue and yellow gems on the HUD represent your party's and your enemy's opportunity. Opportunity is a shared resource that each side has, and it is granted each turn in combat. Unlike some other games where you will be forced to use action points for each character (or skip their turn), opportunity is a bit like a shared action point pool. The flexibility of this system means that party members can set up multi-hit combos, reposition for multiple attacks, or evade danger more effectively."

The multiplayer thrird-person arena shooter Drawn to Death is coming to PlayStation 4 on April 4 for $19.99.
