So for those of you looking forward to this game we have some great news coming your way! Recently it was announced during the Red 5 Studios Destructoid Interview that there was a 6th Battleframe still yet to be released to the public. However, in the creation of the CosPlay it was inadvertently leaked that the Frame used by the CosPlayer Morningstar is wearing the top secret unreleased frame yet to be announced publicly.

There is a lot of grins and smiles as the Dev’s continue to dangle things just out of reach as we grasp for more information. If you missed the interview you can take a look at it here: Q and A with the Firefall Devs.

Taking a moment to look into this we see the leak in the second CP vid below.

The following screen captures were originally brought forward by FireFall Community Member Karric in the discussion of what the 6th battle frame could be. Initially like all others they went to great lengths to scour the feed for any clues they could find in the background of the above video; however, the whole time the information was staring us right in the face.

If you missed it you can see from the picture here that the frame is listed as “classified” there in the left and its called Battleframe not a modified Engineer as many assumed during the video! This compared to Tythons frame we see next...

Here we can clearly see it is classified as a battleframe and called “Assault”. There is a lot of anticipation building up over this as we look forward to where the developers will be taking the Beta testing in the next few months.

Getting back to the frame in action we can return to the original cnimatic trailer:

Here we see that the frame can deploy Mines, Mobile Turrets and has some kind of shoulder mounted SIN system that allows the Character to know the status of the Mobile Turrets. Her primary weapon systems seems to be a kind of burst fire rifle round and the secondary is some kind of burst plasma blast that acts like a shotgun.

In any event many are chomping at the bit to play this new class and look forward to the Open World Content Grummz promises to bring out soon. If you have not signed up for this game it is about to kick it into high gear, so get in where you fit in!
