Hello fellow gamers, Thought i actually start using this blog instead of just reading others.
The subject im going to talk about in this blog entry is that of Free 2 Play games verse Pay 2 Play games in hope to shed some insight or just my personal opion on both types of games and my experiences with them.

For as long as i can remember there has been F2P games and P2P games, While as myself i dont judge a game based on if it costs money or not but more on the line of gameplay, replayabilty, graphics, community and enjoyment, I also realise that not everyone has the same opinions or likes and dislikes so not every gamer is going to like the same thing. The problem is if you go look at any mmorpg in the making on this site you will see countless of people saying "MAKE IT F2P PLEASE" or "THIS GAME LOOKS LIKE CRAP MAKE IT F2P" you also see comments of the other side on the war of P2P vs F2P. There comments usually are "WHY ARE ALL YOU LITTLE 8 YR OLD KIDS SAYING THIS IS GOING TO BE F2P GO PLAY RUNESCAPE OR SOMETHING" or "ITS GOING TO BE P2P, W00T NO LITTLE KIDS TO ANNOY US!". Now in my personal experience of playing both F2P games and P2P games is that P2P are usually better.... Now wait a moment before you start saying OMGZ0R!!!1!11!1 YOU AREZ NUBZ >:( I have played and enjoyed many and many of F2P games so please take the time to keep reading to find out my opinions on both and the disadvantages and advantages!

While i must admit there are a couple of F2P games out there that are actually pretty decent for example (Sword of the new world, RF Online, Silkroad), They seem to lack the same feel as any P2P game i have played. For instance you never really feel secure in a F2P game you always feel like those botters and hackers are ready to stab you in the back at any moment, Also the economy in F2P games is usually horrible take Silkroad for example most of the time you cant log in and when i say that i mean MOST of the time infact theres usually only one point in the day were you can actually log in 100% Why is this so? Because of botters silkroad is the worst game i have ever seen for botters there everywere gold farming, lvling and in your grandma's house :O All these botters ruin the economy and for people just starting in the game its difficult to get anywhere with out buying gold from a gold selling site (Which i frown apon *pokes the gold buyers*). Now what i am about to say might be hard for some to comprehend but once again i am going to note that this is a PERSONAL opinion which means its what i see in my own eyes in no way should my opionions affect yours! But in F2P games it seems like the community consists of 8-14 yr olds while i dont mind the occasional kid i quite enjoy them sometimes in F2P games the community just seems inmature ill take for example RF Online, Three characters walked up to me at the same time with really random names and asked if they could borrow some disensa (Its RF Money) and i said sorry guys im very low on disensa at the the moment i just bought this staff the first thing they said was OMG YOUR A NOOB!!! and insisted on following me for about 4 hrs repeating "Noob and OMG THIS GUY HACKED ME" i just ignored it and moved on but they followed me for 4 hrs so i eventually said guys you do realise that if you were to spend the time that you did following and herassing me you would of had more disensa then i would of given you. They just continued following and shouting so i eventually logged off. While i know every F2P mmo out there has mature players it just seems that in a F2P game there harder to find.

Now for the advantages of F2P well the obivious one is that its free and i think thats what atracts most of the players to F2P games i mean whos not going to play a game thats free! While being free is an advantage it also is what brings some of the disadvantages i spoke of above. While i stated that F2P games seem to have a kiddish community i would also like that the mature players you do find in a F2P game usually turn out to be the best people you can meet on the internet *pets zach* :). Zach is a friend i met like 5 years ago playing Habbo and me and him are still friends to this day.

So all in all F2P games are good but people shouldnt hate so much on P2P games just because you are paying monthly for it i mean who really cares your paying to have fun and if your having fun you should continue playing!

Theres only one disadvantage i can think of for P2P games and that is well of course you have to pay. But really is that such a disadvantage with that paying you get updated content in the game more then you would get in a F2P game. You also get more security then a F2P game what i mean by this is they have more ways of indentifying that you own the account and the % of account return is higher then a F2P. P2P games also actually ban spammers/hackers and botters unlike F2P games while it says in the rules of F2P that its against the rules you never see any of them getting punished. Economy seems to be hundereds of times better in  P2P games then F2P (Again personal opinion)

But at the end of the day guys. It shouldnt really matter if you play  F2P or a P2P as long as your having fun i mean isnt that what games are for? The enjoyment and the pleasure it brings to your self. If you find a game fun thats P2P then pay for it. if your not having fun in that game why are you playing it your just wasting precious life time instead of enjoying it! Id also like to see all the F2P vs P2P Wars stop but everyone knows thats not gonna happen ;)
