Hyper Universe enters steam early access

Hyper Universe has finally entered the next phase of its release which is unexpectedly a steam early access. Generally, early access can be a hit or miss experience depending on the game, but considering what I've experienced so far, I'm still easily excited to get my hands on the game and see what else is new.

The way this game is going into early access is both a good and a bad thing depending on you. You can get into the game by paying $15.99 (currently $9.99 for a brief period until the 27th of August), doing so will give you all 24 hypers (28 with the 4 level unlockable characters) for what is an incredibly cheap price.

When the game comes out of early access, it will transition into a normal free to play game in where you would slowly unlock characters as you play games

Hyper Universe public Alpha starting May 5th!

The Hyper Universe alpha has finally been announced by Nexon to be starting on May 5th (5:00am PDT/1:00pm BST) up until May (7th 9:00pm PDT/May 8th, 2017 5:00am BST) with up to 22 playable characters right from the start.

For those that don't know what Hyper Universe is yet, it is a side scrolling moba that has different floors (so bottom, middle and top) instead of it being in a 3D movement setting as per your conventional moba.

Some important information about the alpha is here as quoted from the website:

This alpha will be under a strict non-disclosure agreement, commonly known as an NDA. This means no screenshots, videos, streams, or sharing of content inside the test will be permitted. We thank you in advance for your cooperation with the NDA as we know you’re excited t

SMITE Tactics Announced from Hi-Rez!

Hi-Rez are on the ball once again with yet another new game called Smite Tactics, If you haven't guessed by the name yet, the game is based in the Smite universe and plays as a top-down, turn based strategy game.

There's not a great deal of information on the game as a whole yet, but I'm eager to give the game a play when it's finally available for testing, here's the announcement that Hi-Rez posted on Wednesday:

SMITE Tactics is a turn-based strategy game set in the same universe as the popular MOBA, so players can expect to see many familiar faces from the Battleground of the Gods.

“We’ve always wanted to expand the SMITE universe,” said Scott Lussier, Lead Designer on SMITE Tactics. “SMITE has millions of fans worldwide, and with SMITE Tactics, players will get to experience mytho

Breakaway - 4v4 Mythological Sport Brawler

Breakaway is a new 4v4 PvP game currently in its alpha stage that will be sending invites sometime soon for people to get into. It has quite an interesting take on the whole small scale moba gameplay with the fact that in order to actually win, you have to actually get a "ball" into the other teams goal. Outside of just having your character skills with who ever you pick, you also get "buildables", you currently have 2 per character to use that can be built once per round, but can also be destroyed by the enemy team.

From what I've seen, it looks like it will be a 3rd person view judging on the gameplay it self, I've not seen any footage showing gameplay directly from a character yet but I'd like to think it's a fairly safe assumption, check out the 10 minutes

Paladins finally entered Open Beta! What's changed?

Paladins has finally entered its open beta stage, their last closed beta stages finished on CB33 with a list of changes and improvements, one of the characters named Ying has been temporarily removed while they fix some issues with her and will be added back into the game at hopefully some point soon.

The game has had a large amount of changes since I last played it, modes have been created and removed, skills and characters have been gone through complete changes to their design, even the time to kill has been changed and made into a more faster paced game and match what you would expect out of a shooter, as opposed to more longer and drawn out battles between even 2 players which it how it used to be at one point.

I think the game is in a much better place now after all the work

Dead by Daylight - 4v1 Survival horror

Dead by Daylight, this is a 4v1 multiplayer game where you play as either 1 of the 4 survivors in a desperate attempt to escape, or as the killer where your goal is to hunt them down and hang your victims as they get brutally sacrificed.

This is a very unique game that's very deserving on taking a peak at, you can compare this very lightly to a game like Evolve based on it's premise, though the major differences is that the 4 survivors do not communicate with each other, can not kill the killer, and you can easily lose track of the other survivors unless they have been grabbed by the killer, fell into a downed state or have been put on the hook.

What I'm really enjoying about this game over something like Evolve is that the game is always intense, surviving o

Savage Resurection - Large scale team pvp at its finest

I found this game almost by accident and I'm quite happy that I did, this game is pretty much a follow up from the classic Savage 1 and 2 games which I found to be incredibly fun with a very high replay value, though over the years like most games that come of old age, the player-base will always start to dwindle off of their once big player-base, one of them I think is being due to lack of advertising as I never saw much of the game back when I did play it anyway.

Since I played savage 2 and not the first game, I will base my general knowledge of that game and hopefully remember enough be able to project it onto this, even if it ends up having some potential differences in game play. Savage is a straight up PvP lobby based game, very similar to something like Natural Selection in r

Got your Paladins beta keys yet?

Paladins have opened up some more opportunitys to get some beta keys for you and any friends that may want to play the game, anyone that enjoys class based shooters kind of like Team Fortress should generally like this game for what is offers. Each class plays very differently so much like with any moba game you will see how each character has their own play style that you would need to figure out for optimal play.

If you havn't followed paladins on twitter or anything else yet to generally see what's going off then now is basically a good time to do it as that's how you will get your key as shown here: http://www.paladins.com/community/

I have been on and off of the game my self for a long while, the game is constantly changing which you will want to be aware of, so there's bee
