Announced: Ghost Recon Online Beta 3 is Ready!

Ubisoft announced today that the Closed Beta 3 phase of Ghost Recon Online will go live starting June 18th. At this point no details have been released for what specific changes to expect in the new closed beta, but based on what information is available there should be some updates to the matchmaking system, classes, and weapons.

I also know that some players have been contacted by email directly regarding testing the Ghost Coins system, but I have not heard any further detail regarding this at this point. Ghost Coins will be what GRO uses as the real cash transactions in the game. As of this point every item included has been posted as available for IGC or Ghost Coins, but has been level locked. Even is you have the cash to buy the most expensive weapon you can't use it until you grind to that level giving everyone a fair chance at this point.

Below is a video I took on the last day of CB2 in May.  It has no talking or commentary, just straight game-play with my Recon class using a MP7 SMG. The first part of the match was slow since players were joining, but the second part was a bit better. My client is up to date and I will be sure to bring you further updates as the game goes live.
