webzen poor customer service

Hello readers ,

I am here to tell you about WEBZEN  and their poor customer support, and a major security flaw , that has been on going for 2 years now.

Over the past 2 years WEBZEN staff have been told about a log-in authentication issue , where players log into their own accounts and just happen to get on someone elses. They choose to ignore the issue for 6+ months as there was no signifact proof as it happened so randomly it was hard to get proof. A simple screen shot never really proved anyhting.

With players telling them of the issue they say they are working on it etc yet no annoucment has ever been made regaring the issue, This happens in all WEBZEN games in their europe and north american site for MU S.U.N and ARCHLORD.

With archlord this is a huge security risk as people are able to delete any charcter as webzen had removed the password verification when you clicked the delete button. Not only is this a security risk but 100's of players have lost valuable items , time and real money that they have spent on Wcoin purcahes.

Over the past 2 years WEBZEN implemented a (security card) to help protect from this issue but it never did as the authentication issue happens after you have selceted your regoinal server. Even when people have said the issue was still nto fixed nothing was ever done to bring this important issue up and fix it.

WEBZEN's forums were down for 6 months and people were not able to communicate major issues to GM's Unless it was through the direct inquery system which are either never read or replied to.

Now with the supposed new and imporved cutomer support from webzen and their new forums back online the only support we see is mods keeping the forums clean of anything negative towards webzen even when someone brings up such security issues the posts are deleted or just get some random automated reply from GM's.Whats worse is that GM's have started to post annoucments saying that if anyhting happens to anyones accounts it is the players fault , and ignoring this huge secuirty issue, basicly denying any responsiblity when this happens in the article s below.

1 person was even banned and ip blocked from the forums for having a petition in their forum signiture to help round the community together to get webzen to give the players better customer support and fix such major security issues.
