Lead By Example, Show Your Team Who's BossBy: Ammunition posted at Jun 16, 2012 10:41 am
Have you ever played a match, and it feels like your own team doesn't know how to play? Everyone seems to be camping near the spawn? Is everyone is having trouble pushing against enemies line? Does the other team always have better players? Well here is a possible solution to help lead your team to victory. Don't be one of those players who stand back in fear of losing, lead by example and show everyone who's boss.
Countless times I played in matches where my team doesn't know the first thing of running and gunning. Sometimes I wonder why am I put into a team where players do not know the bare basics. Although it may be frustrating to play during times, the satisfaction of knowing that you won during a hard fought game makes getting that Win feel much better. Although this may not be for everyone, showing your true knowledge, skills, and luck during these times will benefit yourself as you have fought against the more experienced players.
In the battlefield some players at the first instance of feeling overwhelm would change into a sniper, or move into tactical positions much slower due to the confusion of enemy lines. When you join a game and notice that players are staying close to their positions without advancing, take advantage of this moment to show everyone how it is done. If you do not believe me that this idea will work, ask yourself how many times have you joined a match where you are just dominating the whole time? It is done by a few players leading the team by rushing into the enemies base, sometimes blindly, and elminating tactically. How do you expect players to win if they are just standing at the spawn point with their backs against the wall? If you check on the map of the whole game, you will see certain players always being in the front lines battling it out. Other players see the movement and join the resistance as support. For instance, if there was domination/conquest mode, rush into enemy lines and eliminate the opposing force. Although support does not come instant, you will see your team following your lead to victory.
For instance, I put up heavy resistance when I see my team is failing to move advance forward. When I do so, I see a couple of players following my momentum and also put up resistance. As the team gain confidence of knowing that there is enemies being pushed back, they will move up and use the momentum that you gave the team, to lead into victory. In short, do not stay back and fear the enemies advancement, fight back to your full extent and show both teams who's boss. Lead by example of wanting to win, and your team will soon follow your lead.
If you plan on not leading by example and players on your team also have the same feelings, then you will be seeing this screen a lot.
