Call Of Duty or Battlefield? Which do I play?

So there is a huge debate a while ago arguing which game is the best among players to play. The choices for FPS slim down pretty well to the chart topping games such as battlefield, or Call of duty. But which one of these games are the best?

To get down what game I truly prefer, it is Battlefield>COD. Ok COD fans don't hate on me to quickly, because I thought call of duty was the best game up until MW3. The fast pace shooting, with a small map, and kill streaks was a pretty fun way to kill other players. But until I just recently bought BattleField 3, aside from playing the slower pace battlefield 1/2, I just felt that Battlefield 3 was a better game.

Battlefield 3 wasn't mindless shooting, and sprinting, it actually required a bit more strategy and skills. Rather than like in COD where I am killing 2 or 3 people and then getting killed from behind, I found that Battlefield had a better spawn position. I wasn't dying as much from getting killed right after sprinting from a spawn point like in COD, but on the downside, in battlefield the much larger maps may take a while to find other players to kill.

I was quite a COD fan for a while as it was a much more faster pace and more kills are rewarded. But after playing Battlefield 3 I just feel that Battlefield takes more strategy in flanking players from the blind side. While COD players are enjoying killing other players with their rewarded kill streak, I find it much more rewarding getting my hard earned kills with my rifle.

Another thing that I found more interesting is that Battlefield, players can slide or jump through obstacles while shooting. But I was so use to playing COD that every time there was an obstacle I would click "A" or "X" to climb over, putting my weapons down making me vulnerable. This was an interesting feature as I like to sprint past enemy bullets, and strike when I can. Or like how many players call it ninja my way through obstacles while shooting.

Battlefield also added something new that I never used before. A bipod which can be used to hold your gun on flat surfaces which would greatly reduce the vertical climb on a rifle. This was a neat feature like many other features such as Laser sights and flashlights that blind enemies. I do not usually see these items in games that can be used to blind enemies since most of the time a gun with a laser/light is just pure cosmetics.

But if there was one reason I do not understand, the Desert Eagle was left out of Battlefield 3. Battlefield 3 is the only modern warfare game that I have played, that did not have a desert eagle. This gun should have been in the game regardless because the m16 is almost always found in games. Other than this complaint changing the defibrillator on the opposite direction on the direction pad was pretty bad as I needed to stop playing battlefield 2.

I was always a COD fan playing the games when I can, doing the same old same old running and gunning players down. But until I discovered Battlefield 3, my gameplay advanced to a whole other level as I was running, gunning, and destroying past enemy lines.
