So going across the internet while the Avengers hype has just settle down recently since its movie release and I have found a really cool Avengers game. Rather than being like the majority of games where it is a third person view or a point and click game this game that is coming out is a First Person Action RPG.

    From looking at this game it looks as if it was coming out to be an MMO game. With 20 different characters including both Super Heroes and Villains it has a cool concept behind it as every character is unique and supportive of their comic book role. Not only having a chance to play as one of the characters, but to fight alongside with other heroic friends online. This video is the only video that I have found, and it is only pre-alpha gameplay. It looks great so far and I was exited to see it, but to my disappointment I have saw this game coming out for the Xbox 360.

    I say this game or a game similar should be released and looks similar to the video that I have posted. Where else can I find an online game that is not a First Person Shooter and is as well known as the Marvel Universe?

So here is my top 3 reasons and suggestions in why Marvel Avengers should be a MMO game.

          1/ There is no name as popular as the Marvel Universe in gaming, comics, movies and even cosplay. So with advertising on the movies, comics and even in comic con the game will have a greater chance for recognition. More recognition more chances that players will join. Also due to the no age gap, both young, old and anyone inbetween can enjoy and know more about their favourite characters through an online game What person wouldn't want to play spiderman (an icon growing up) on the computer swinging and capturing enemies in a web? So the popularity is there for sure and hopefully many players will join when the news break out.

          2/There is no game and no characters exactly like the ones in the Marvel universe. With every character different from the rest, ,this brings a flare and interest into the character customization as every character has different attitudes, attacks, and skills. Imagine playing as Iron Man with his carefree attitude as he missiles and blast his way through incoming enemies. Or imagine Wolverine with his serious attitude as he rips and shreds foes. So the possibilities are there, and with the vast numbers of incredible super heroes and super villains the possibility is pretty much endless. But here is my suggestion, Do NOT and I mean DO NOT set us loose with a "create your own Super Hero". I have had enough of creating my own character and I don't want to play with anyone with Hulk abilities that has flames. So just let us play a unique character and learn the world in how they view it.

          3/Another thing, for FIRST PERSON RPG games, I have not found very many, or any at all that is popular and well known in the MMO world. Other than the console version of Skyrim which many players want to be an MMO, I have found only 3 FPRPG games. So bringing this will surely bring something new to the MMO world, especially in what Ghost Recon did with its covering system. This will hopefully attract both new and veteran players to play this game due to its new First Person and RPG function. But here is the deal, give us players something to differentiate us from the crowd, but not too much like changing Cyclops beam colour and wearing metal armor. Giving us the option to change the clothing/colours is good as long as it looks the same or really similar to the books.

    So from looking at this game it would be interesting if it came out as a MMO game with its unique First person capabilities. Don't give us a overhead view like in the PS2 games, give us a first person view with a bit of third person. With unique abilities for each character, make it dramatic like when Phoenix charges her phoenix flare make a cut scene showing the burns and scorches or like when storm using thunder strikes, shake the screen and make the enemies look toasted. I know it would be a long run or no run at all but, I really like the concept of this game. It looks interesting and intriguing to play as one of my favourite super hero or super villian that I have seen growing up.

    Well to end this and to who ever reads this, I have my own favourite Marvel Characters. In the Avengers, I choose Captain America because of his Final Justice and shield bashes which makes him one of my favourite characters growing up. But if I had to choose one character to really play in this game, it would be Venom a Super Villian. Venom is just deadly and I like the various attacks that he has to offer in many of the games that I have played.
