FFXIV - bought it, seen it.

Yeah, I did it, don't ask me why but I did.
I bought Final Fantasy 14, wanted to see it with my own eyes - the 'horror' people speak of!
I'm a big fan you know.. maybe one of the biggest, have been playing the finalfantasy series since I was very little!
Also, squaresoft just means alot to me, it's been a big part of my youth - their games have given so many other game
developers inspiration, including myself.
You kidding me? Again I'm left with only a handful of customisation options for my character - fuk.
First thing I noticed, so yeah.. I find the game-interface, where you create your character abit 'empty'.
What I mean by that is, that it's really not saying anything about the game itself, it's really empty.
Yes it does look clean and neat, but that makes this interface
C9 - Not my kind of game.

So, I've entered the VIP-Test of C9 - and it's quite different from what I expected it to be! I have played the game for 2 hours, also made 2 characters during that time. (archer and a swordsman)
But I did quit after that, bit of a shame for the VIP-key if you ask me, but this game just isn't made for me. It looks great, gameplay is decent aswell - but the character customisation lacks so much that I just can't bear with it.
In an mmo I want to be different I want to be seen as an individual who isn't the exact same as someone else. Some find this a minor negative point, I find it very problematic it's an issue which is occuring to many mmos these days. If you speak of an mmo you speak of an other reality, a world which differs from the real one, a world where you recreate yoursel
Starting my Blog.
Yes, I am.
Starting my blog, you see.. there are so many things I could and want to talk about with you guys. Be it games, be it opinions. I've been wondering how people sometimes see games, one says: Can't wait! While the other finds the game 'dissapointing'. I will be writing about my own games, and.. what do I think of them? Or rather, why I play or don't play 'em.
Anyways, in my opinion a blog has to start with a 'starter' entry. Can't just, be all 'oh hey I laik these games' all of a suddon. So yeah, starting (hopefully) next week, I will be writing/sharing my games and opinions. But ofcourse, only games that I find interesting, I wouldn't want to talk about an update of runescape now would I?
So yeah, catch you guys latah ~
