Destiny 2's Issue with Microtransactions and its Shaders

Destiny 2 is a pretty good game! To the point where I was surprised. However The Developer's Greed poisons an aspect of the game that once remained free and much more flexible.

WARNING: Strong language is used in the video below to bring the point across in a more effective manner

Destiny's Shader system used to be a way to show off your achievements with no limits on how many times you can dye your armor/gear. In Destiny 2 Shaders are not only consumable and one-time-use but also buyable with real money through their "Bright - Engram" lootbox microtransaction. While these can be earned for free, this Shader system in Destiny 2 has been designed AROUND microtransactions and that's sad.

What do you guys think?

Destiny 2 PC - Crucible/PvP First Impressions

Destiny has been a console game since its early development. The sequel-Destiny 2 is available on PC and I had some hands on with the recent open beta! Here are my thoughts on the PvP portion of the game/performance and controls

Unfortunately Destiny 2 doesn't release for PC until October 24th where the console version releases in less than a week :/. On the flip side we get a better looking game, higher framerates, higher field of view and the most accurate control method (which you'll see in the video enhances the experience)

Let me know your thoughts! Are you getting Destiny 2 for the PC? or Console?

Why Path of Exile's Latest Hardcore League is Worth Playing

Path of Exile is a free to play Action RPG much in the vein of Diablo 2. PoE has a very RPG-heavy character customization that makes personal player builds both possible and viable even until end-game if you know what you are doing.

Path of Exile's newest new set of Leagues (that last until Mid November) are deemed the "Harbinger" Leagues with both Softcore and Hardcore varients. I prefer Hardcore where If I die that's it, gotta make a new character and a new, more viable build. To me it's all about the rush of adrenaline that comes from a close class and surviving tough fights.

Whether you're in softcore or hardcore you can save your loot, items and gear from your travels and use them towards future characters on the same account which is really nice!

Let me know what you think of Path of Exile, have you played it since the newest update (The Fall of Oriath?"

Paragon's Old Map (Legacy) vs New Map (Monolith)

Paragon's currently unavailable Large-old map (Legacy) was something that a lot of people miss, myself included. In this post you will find a video showing off gameplay from Paragon's old map as well as some talking points on the subject!

I personally hope that one day Epic decides to let us play on this old and beautiful map once again using the current Meta of Paragon, that likely won't happen but I hope that Epic somehow comes across this video and maybe considers changing how the current map plays (Monolith) to make it feel like the older map. The old map wasn't perfect but in my opinion it did feel a lot better.

Paragon is a free to play MOBA created by Epic Games and that uses the Unreal 4 Engine. The game has recently hit a huge update with a overhaul to many of the game's system and features that people either love or hate

Stay tuned for some Absolver content!
