Will SEA have a Killer App MMO?

Killer App, a term used to describte a program or software that represents it's hardware in full function and everyone uses it with no problems.

Examples

Sonic the Hedgehog = Sega Genesis/Mega Drive
Halo = Microsoft Xbox
Grand Theft Auto 3 = Playstation 2
Microsoft Office = Windows Os (I did say Program!)

I don't know if you agree but Korea already has it's Killer App and I strongly believe that it's Maplestory. The easy to use communication interface and simple pixel art characters has allowed players in Korea to easily understand the game and make full use people using their internet cafe's. It has alot allowed many other companies to make MMOs which people can relate to Maplestory (Wonderking, Windrunner 2), however this is in 3D.

My question is that will Asia have a killer app in 3D?

I ask this because America already had there killer app and it was called World of Warcraft, hence why I wonder if Asia will ever do the same thing?
