Patch 5.1 Horde vs Alliance (Lore) *Spoilers*

SPOILER ALERT - this article contains heavy spoilers about the upcoming lore development between the Horde & the Alliance in the forthcoming Patch 5.1. Continue reading at your own risk.

Garrosh's destruction of Theramore ended the diplomacy between the Horde and the Alliance. In Patch 5.1, several scenarios have been added where the lore development gets really interesting. Below, you'll find links to various leaked sound files -- mainly those of the main protagonists.

Patch 5.1 Dalaran Audio

After Rhonin's death, Jaina Proudmoore found out that she can no longer trust the Horde. Theramore was infiltrated by a blood-elven spy, from the Sunreavers faction. Her decision now in 5.1 leads to the removal of the Horde from Dalaran, making the city Alliance only.

We'll most likely see a phased Dalaran City, but I suppose the one in Northrend will remain untouched.

The Fate of Anduin Wrynn

Several rumours are claiming the death of Anduin, in a Scenario, where Garrosh shall put an end to him.

Here are possible variations of the plot (just my humble opinion).

Possibility one: In a newly added Scenario, you'll help Garrosh and at the end of the Scenario young Wrynn appears and the players choose whether you let him alive or not.

To support this theory, here are his audio files. You can clearly hear a very painful sound at 0:45, indicating a death blow.

Possibility two: Garrosh will indeed kill Anduin, but later on, he will be resurrected by the Black Prince as the part of the legendary quest chain, in Patch 5.2. I don't think Anduin would die so simply, because Velen's vision would then not be true.

Garrosh Hellscream - The Path of Corruption

I really hate how every boss needs to become obsessed and/or corrupted in order to be defeated. I don't even dislike Garrosh that much. He's a decent lore character and a warchief that actually does something.

What we know for sure is that Garrosh Hellscream will be the main boss of Mists of Pandaria, pretty much like Deathwing was in Cataclysm or the Lich King in Wrath, which really sucks.

In Patch 5.1, Garrosh will want to get ahold of an artifact of immense power. This artifact is corrupted by the Sha. According to the audio files, he has no idea what he is dealing with.

Apart from that, you can hear his Scenario monologue and his part of the dialogue with Anduin Wrynn.

Tyrande Whisperwing Audio

It looks like Darnassus will be attacked by the Horde, but the Alliance successfully defends the sanction of night elves.

Grand Magister Rommath & Aethas Sunreaver Audio Files

It's good to see these two actually get some love from Blizzard. Their speech is mainly based on the fact that they were to leave Dalaran by force, or were imprisoned. In a Scenario you help to free one of them.

Lor'themar Theron

The Regent Lord of Quel'thalas plays a vital role in this Patch, he's really mad at Garrosh for his deeds and also mentions " he may reconsider returning back to his old alliances"
