Two weeks ago, I informed you about sharing a drink with Wrathion, the npc that is involved in getting the legendary daggers in Cataclysm. At the moment, some quest lines were added to the PTR.

You are sent to collect 10x Sigil of Power and 10x Sigil of Wisdom. The Sigil of Power drops from every boss in Raid Finder difficulty. Sigil of Wisdom drops from normal mode Grand Empress Shek'zeer in normal difficulty, Heart of Fear raid.

 

When these items are combined, they are used to empower certain weapons, which have a Sha-Touched Socket available on them.

Once you collect all of the sigils, you are sent to Terrace of Endless Spring, where you have to kill Sha of Fear. Before you'll be able to enter ToES, you'll have to complete Heart of Fear raid. Once you defeat the last boss you'll loot Chimera of Fear that you bring back to Wrathion.

With all the items collected and combined you're able to choose from Crystallized Dread (+500Agility), Crystallized Terror (+500Strength) or Crystallized Horror (+500Int) socket.

Only certain weapons can be empowered. Their itemlevel is as follows: 10/25 Raid Finder difficulty (ilvl 483), 10/25 Normal diffulty (ilvl 496) and finally in 10/25 Heroic (ilvl 509).

Here's the sigil drop, as indicated, it drops off all bosses in the raid, though you have to win the roll first.

This is only the first part of the quest line as more quests from Wrathion will arrive with Patch 5.1, when WAR comes to Pandaria.

You'll be able to empower a certain weapon to become a legendary one.

Here are the icons that have been found in-game at the moment. And below is the legendary item that will empower your weapon removing all its enchants and sockets.

We don't know which weapons will have the ability to become empowered, though here is a complete list of the leaked questline, which will be added as we progress further in Mists of Pandaria.
