Earlier, I reported about the 55% increase between levels 85-90. This time, the numbers have been tweaked again to make leveling even faster at lower levels.
Below is a table where you'll find the old value, which is representative of today's experience needed to ding a level in the range displayed below; the second one shows Blizzard's initial XP increase and the third one displays the most up-to-date XP requirements.
A brief overview:
The overall XP requirement from 80-85 has been reduced to speed up leveling for players that haven't reached 85 yet, or for newly created monks. Ranges 80-82 remain unchanged, 82-84 (reduced by 33%), 84-85 (reduced by 50%)
|Level||Old XP Requirement||New XP Requirement||Newest XP Requirement|
|1-9||Old||Without a change||Remains unchanged|
|40-82||Old||Without a change||Remains unchanged|
|85-86||10 million||15.5 million (+55%)||13 million (+30%)|
|86-87||11.6 million||18 million (+55%)||18 million (+55%)|
|87-88||14.6 million||22.6 million (+55%)||22.6 million (+55%)|
|88-89||17.6 million||27.3 million (+55%)||27.3 million (+55%)|
|89-90||21.2 million||32.8 million (+55%)|| 32.8 million (+55%) |
RAID DPS TEST DUMMIES:
Player participating in the beta testing can now test out their DPS on test dummies that are located in Shattrath City.
To see the actual numbers, you will want to download a beta version of either the Recount addon or Skada from Curse and/or WoWInterface.
The test dummies are rooted in place, they will not turn to you, so you can attack them from behind. If you get close to them, you get the MoP food & flask buffs depending on your specialization and the boss will receive debuffs, to simulate a real raid situation.
The only problem here is that these numbers may seem low, since the only gear you get for free is PvP gear with PvP stats. For PvE gear you need to farm heroics and reputation which is time-consuming and will get erased in a month when beta's over so it's not even worth of your time.
The dummies have a Patchwerk skin, tons of health and respawn right after killing. They are spread out, so no one should accidently cleave to disrupt your testing.
Here are the buffs you get that simulate a raid situations as soon as approach the dummy testing target.
There we have the debuffs that are automatically placed upon the Internal Test Boss once you enter its range.
