Challenge Modes are enabled in the BETA right now, so I decided to give this new feature a little preview:

The Reward

You get Valor Points. The amount depends on how quick you actually complete a dungeon. In the screenshot below you can see the user interface of Challenges. Valor Points are used to purchase and upgrade powerful PvE items in Mists of Pandaria.

On the left side of the UI, you can see a list of all the heroic dungeons of Pandaria. On the rupper right, you see your best run and your last run along with the last/best medal you acquired. Let's say you wanted to get a medal in heroic Temple of the Jade Serpent.

Rewards are as follows:

• -- 60 Valor Points for completing the dungeon in 15 minutes
• -- 50 Valor Points for completing the dungeon in 25 minutes
• -- 40 Valor Points for completing the dungeon in 50 minutes

Of course, during the first weeks/months, an average player won't be able to complete these heroic dungeons in 15 minutes.

Anyway, the 25 minute difference between Silver and Bronze is really huge, so you shouldn't have a problem to get that.

Valor Points from your Random Mists of Pandaria Heroic Dungeon and Challenges indeed stack.

The maximum Valor Points cap is 1000/1000 per week. You get 210VP/heroic + Challenges [40, 50, 60VP]

On the bottom of the interface, there's a Leaderboard button. This will open up your browser, so you can see the best successful results of timed runs on your server.

You will be even able to compare your results, with the results of guildies, so you can see who's run was the fastest.

Simply see for the interface under the Guilds Tab.

This is the UI you get when you are awarded a golden medal for finishing a run within the required time.
