How to Get a Furnace in Patch 2.3 [Guide]

I'm almost at Paragon 600, but still haven't seen a Furnace drop. The RNGeesus hates me! This is a guide for all those unlucky who haven't seen a single Furnace drop yet.

Upgrade Rare to Legendary Spreadsheet

A spreadsheet that is periodically updated with % chances, can be found here.

The Furnace

Is a Two-Hand Mace which boosts your damage against Elites and Bosses by 50%. You want to Cube it to your Weapon slot for most of the classes. It speeds up Greater Rifts significantly, by boosting your damage output against the aforementioned minions of Hell.

Never try to gamble for a Furnace at Kadala, unless you have Ancient Gear in every slot. It's just a waste of Blood Shards that could be spent towards upgrading your existing slots with better gear, so it's really not worth

Diablo: Seasonal HoTA Barbarian Guide for Greater Rifts 60+ Part I.

I've been playing a lot of Diablo recently and achieving Greater Rift 60 solo was quite a challenge and required progress, so now I'm going to give you some hints as how to achieve this:

Season 4

This Season, the most popular classes for GR progression are HoTA Barbarians and Monks (be it entirely support or DPS). Monks can pull enemy packs with ease and heal up the whole party and they synergize great with HoTA Barbarians. Other classes aren't bad, but they have almost no place in groups pushing, maybe except Witch Doctors.

When in a group with a Support Monk that has Oculus Ring cubed, try to stand within the circle on the ground, it will boost your damage greatly! While playing solo, never fight less than 5 mobs. Don't forget that bosses will follow you if you chai

Diablo: Legendary Gem Calculator

As you explore Greater Rifts and level up your favorite Legendary Gems, you're likely to hit a point where it becomes harder to level them further. While you can find out your odds of leveling a gem by talking to Urshi after finishing a Greater Rift, knowing these odds in advance can help you plan your Greater Rift-running experience ahead of time, especially if you have limited Greater Rift keys.

Thankfully, jerbookins has created a useful Legendary Gem Calculator for just such a purpose (hat tip:Reddit Diablo).

This handy app takes the level of your current Greater Rift key and Legendary Gem as inputs, and determines your odds of upgrading the gem at the current Greater Rift key level and the next three above it.

You can also use it to find out how powerful a

Diablo: Season 2 Ending Soon!

A very interesting step by Blizzard. Season 1 lasted almost an eternity, Season 2 didn't even last two months and Season 3 is already knocking at the door. It seems Seasons in Diablo will last as long as those in Hearthstone, a month, which is an ideal time to acquire the achievements.

SEASON 2 is ending at the following dates and times for each region:

i. North America: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. PDT

ii. Europe: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. CEST

iii. Asia: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. KST

Between the end of Season 2 and the start of Season 3, there wil be a five-day window.

SEASON 3 is starting shortly after, at the following dates and times for each region:

i. North America: Friday, April 10 @ 6:00 p.m. PDT

ii. Europe: Friday, April 10@ 6:00 p.m. CEST

iii. Asia: Friday,

Diablo: Microtransactions Coming To Asian Servers

A very interesting topic on the official forums caught my eye recently. It's the Community Managers talking about implementing a new feature for Diablo III, which will be region exclusive.

A new type of currency called Platinum is coming to Asian servers.

Note that the CMs in both European and American regions confirmed this feature will not be available in either of these regions.

The Platinum Currency (Exclusively Available To Asian Servers Only)

  • I. You'll be able to buy timed experience boosts;
  • II. Cosmetic items that include wings, non-combat pets and character portraits;
  • III. More stash space and character slot expansions;
  • IV. A new User Interface (UI) that references the above information.

Following is a statement that many players have expressed an intere

Diablo: Patch 2.2.0 Preview!

Seasons 2 were enabled a week ago and today, Blizzard brought us a preview of what's next in the forthcoming Diablo Patch 2.2.0 that's currently in development and will hit Public Test Realms soon. Please note that this is a preview so the information presented here does not have to reflect all updates in 2.2.0 and everything is subject to change. Some images represent work in progress and the final product may be totally different.

New Improved Sets

In the newest patch, more sets will be introduced that will compete with the most powerful ones currently available in the game. Three new 6 piece sets will debut in 2.2.0 - Unhallowed Essence, Wrath of the Wastes, and Delsere's Magnum Opus.

Some sets like (Zunimassa's Haunt, Raiment of a Thousand Storms etc.) will have a slight redesign

Diablo: Pyrolysis Wizard Build

Here's another interesting build for all the Wizards up there, optimalized for Patch 2.1.2 for anyone who's bored and would like to try out some new builds.

Information regarding the build:

Frying your enemies with electricity or fire feels rather satisfying when playing a Wizard, so why not have both? It's time to harness the stunning strength of Paralysis with the powerful Conflagration spell. Both of these are the fudament of this build.

This build doesn't feature any Signature spell, so it's really essential to stack sources of Arcane Power regen whenever possible. Plenty of cooldown skills help fill in the blanks, when you do not have enough Arcane Power to keep Arcane Torrent up.

Diablo: Soling A Torment VI Rift In 1 Minute 11 Seconds!

A player has managed to solo a Torment VI rift with his group in 1 minute and 11 seconds. Of course, his group was lucky with the mob density, nonetheless, this proves his great character control and also the fact that with the addition of Ancient Legendaries, Torment VI difficulty becomes overwhelmingly easy, it was easy even priot to 2.1.2 but hey, we've got Greater Rifts for that, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Diablo: +100% Bonus To Legendaries / Double Treasure Goblins Buffs

With the release of Patch 2.1.2, Blizzard has activated two buffs with limited duration regardless of the platform.

PC, PlayStation 4 & Xbox One

Adventures who encounter Treasure Goblins will notice they've brought friends to the party, for a limited time, all goblins will spawn in pairs. Now the fun part is that when you encounter a Horde of Goblins, you'll be spending more time looting than actually killing them.

PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360

For a limited time, all players who log in to defend the Sanctuary will receive a +100% bonus to their chance to find Legendary and Set items. This bonus stacks multiplicatively with other existing bonuses, including those provided by items, shrines, Torment difficulty levels, and Nephalem Rifts.

The double Treasure
