My main is a Level 90 Mage. I love soloing old content, even though some encounters cannot be soloed yet, I'm always soloing certain raid instances every week. One of them is, indisputably, Sunwell Plateau. Not only is it a nostalgic place, but it also drops gear with the best in-game models to-date. Of course I do these runs, maily for transmogs. Sometimes, I even sell transmog runs. It can earn you a nice amount of gold, if you have already completed your Tier 6.5 Set. As you might have already been aware, players were unable to solo the first boss in Sunwell, Kalecgos, because the encounter needed at least two people, otherwise it would reset. Blizzard has today, ultimately revealed the release date of the upcoming World of Warcraft 5.3 Patch. The Patch will go live this Tuesday, 21st for US and a day after for Europe. They announced it on their official Twitter fanpage.

With plenty of information about Patch 5.3 around, I haven't really seen any discussions about the release date yet. That's one of the reasons, why I'd like to share some thoughts on it. Let's begin with some math.
The release date of 5.0.4, which was also the first patch since the expansion launch, was released on 28th August, 2012.
The first patch of the expansion 5.1, was released on 27th November, 2012.
Now between the launch and patch 5.1, exactly 13 weeks (or 91 days) elapsed.
The latest patch that brought the Throne of Thunder raid, 5.2, was released on 5th March, 2013, even though the release was postponed by a week. Blizzard initially planned to release the patch on 26th February, 2013.

Patch 5.3 adds new battle pets. You may have already seen some models in an earlier preview, but now it's the best time to look at them again, because it's already known, where you obtain them.
Please note that all pets are subject to change at any given time and some may not make it in the release and that Patch 5.3 is in its late testing phase.
Bad Robot - Finally, our Engineering fellows are getting some love! This pet will be craftable via the profession and the pet will be BoE, so you can buy it in the auction house. Blizzard was at first a bit skeptic about whether this pet will be added with 5.3, but there are really no reasons for them not to do so.
Valkier Pet - this pet is added to Icecrown zone in Northrend. You will be able to capture it with ease.
