Emobi Games company officially announce will be the publisher of 2112, the first MMORTS in Vietnam.

Emobi Games officially join the game publishing, a potential and challenging market, quit the role as independent studio. Currently, Emobi is preparing the legal procedure, as well as the procedures get publish license from government departments. Emobi Games also completed copyright registration for their products. 

In the coming time, Emobi Games will announce the closed beta schedule for 2112, and officially confirm plans to commercial release on December 21th.

Recently, the issue that RaidCall and its branch office in Vietnam, CENS, which was the exclusive sponsor for the DotA 2 RaidCall Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012, has decided to self-withdraw the sponsor contract with the organizer is IGN.vn, is making wave in Vietnam DOTA 2 Community.

As IGN.vn stated, from the beginning, when CENS had known about the DotA 2 Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012 qualifier to select the representative to compete at The Asia in Malaysia, they came to IGN.vn to offer to be the exclusive sponsor for the tournament, and change the tournament’s name to DotA 2 RaidCall Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012.

According to the contract, CENS must transfer 70% of the sponsor package to IGN.vn before August 27th; however, CENS kept delaying the transfer with unreasonable excuses

VTC Game, the Vietnam publisher of Than Mo Ky, has announced that game service will be terminated on December 12th, 2011 (GMT+7).

Than Mo Ky is a free browser based game developed by Guangzhou Feiyin (China) and started open beta on June 1st, 2010. The contract between VTC Game and Guangzhou Feiyin has value 4 billion Vietnamese dong. This agreement is for 3 years but now it’s broken.

Asiasoft Vietnam has opened the beta of Battle Star in April 27, 2010 and this game service will be terminated on November 15th, 2010. The reason for termination was that Ministry of Information and Communications of the socialist republic of Vietnam required Asiasoft terminate game service.

Shanda Games (China) has announced that they are prepared to begin alpha testing for Legend of Immortal in October 28.

Legend of Immortal is an adaptation from contemporary fantasy novel.  Legend of Immortal  brings you into a mysterious but especially penny magic world of self-cultivation. By adapting Gamebryo engine, this game delivers quality console visual effect and non-lag battle action.  The game story is based Chinese Mythology, but expand from Human being world to Haven Paradise to the mortal world.

Legend of Immortal is currently being developed. The game entered first-round technical testing on July 16.

Asiasoft Vietnam, the Vietnam publisher of MMORPG Ragnarok Online and HuangYi Online, has announced that game service will be terminated on January 24th, 2011.

Ragnarok Online is an online role-playing game based on Norse mythology in development by Gravity (Korea). Ragnarok Online was first released in Vietnam in May 2006 by VNG (Vinagame). The service provided by VNG was ceased on March 31, 2008. Asiasoft Vietnam has opened the beta of Ragnarok Online in November 28, 2008 and this game service will be terminated on January 24th, 2011. The reason for termination was that Asiasoft did not reach an agreement with Gravity.
